This team has played so bad at home its almost comical. Best away recprd for some reason and winning most road games convincingly.
Why because he dribbled it off his foot and made 2 free throws?

tell us how you really feel
det salt
Is what you were throwing when Missi kicked that penal to mars
I would think he's looking at what he has as far as depth, tbh... which is not a lot... he's probably trying to find where he put Kevin Martin's phone number, tbh
damn haven't you seen this mad since that
-7 against Chile... chill, it's just a NBA game...
MaSTEEL Showed up today.![]()
He can wait for b2b to do that, tbh. I hope somebody asks him the reasoning behind resting Tony and LA today. I'm seriously intrigued.
..
Grim business that investment in Anderson/Simmons has been thus far, tbh..might just need to cut bait by the trade deadline..
0-7? I don't recall![]()
I wondered about why at home, why after a 2 day rest when there's no B2B, why them and not the eldest? But it's just the fact the Mavs were so bad that Pop chose them for the rookie test lab. It was about seeing Bertans and Murray in a good lelineup IMO. Pop had to sit Tony and LMA to see them I guess. It was more about the young players than about strategic rest.
Then Forbes really hadn't played.
on cue..
His total lack of awareness in some of these declarations explains his dismal coaching performance the past two postseasons. Post-2014, the Spurs have a Pop problem among other things-- his last few suckers and their 5-rings talk notwithstanding..
key word is appropriate fear here. I think the lineups were appropriate if you ask me. We were playing the worst team in the league, played horrible and still won. Good teaching experience for the young guys and for the vets. Pretty much let the team know he won't put up with less than great. What are y'all ing about? Tbh We won and Pop still has a valuable teaching moment early on. Like Pop teaches life is bigger than ball.
Some of y'all would of not been happy with anything less than a blowout, while Pop probably would of been in the area as long as the team executed and defended. This game was pretty much a setup. Had two rookies starting, one of which being turnover prone and the other being a bit gun shy.
im not even worried about this game. A virtual meaningless game that served a purpose. We won and Pop taught. Maybe we should of lost but it was a moral loss that we won so it's all good. Need these. We have these games every year it seems and usually the first one is the last.
Good points Raybies
I think Pop got exactly what he wanted, including the statement of admonishment to the press and all th footage for the young player roast. Hopefully guys show the appropriate fear next time.
Thanks, maybe I'm just being a contrarian but the complaining after every game win or lose is annoying me right now. I'll get over it. Fans so darn spoiled here. I personally haven't really minded most of the lineups this year. I get where pops coming from for the most part and tonight was a development game. He wanted to see where Murray and Bertrand were at right now. Mainly Murray. He did this with CoJo. He gives them a chance to see if they'll have a role. It's their reward for the humility and discipline as well as performances. He'll likely have a couple more. I thought he played decent, not as terrible as some might lead to believe. It's just the expectations for him are so high people forget to curve. He made rookie mistakes, like fouls and tos but he only like had one bad shot. He showed improvement orchestrating the offense and letting the game come to him.
spur warrior
thank you for your sacrifice.
when you say "years", i'm talking about the years before the iPhone 4.
Lack of respect but is the one to bench 2 starters.![]()
I'm talking about since 2011 tbh. Other than the 2014 series, I think the Mavs only beat the Spurs once (with the Spurs resting everyone) and the rest of the games were blowouts.
maybe i'm thinking about all the years. when brad davis was balling and kiki vandeweghe didn't have the stones. i'm talking about all the games.
the spurs are king, and the mavs have always been a pain in their ass.
its fun
Eh, if you're talking historically, sure, though Houston's always been a pain in the ass too.
There's always chat and hate even after the team won... between the different player crews and the player hate crews it gets to be ok much. Lol
Keep being the positive contrarian!
If this team ever does need to tank I think there are some fans that just won't be able to stomach even the proposed mini tank 1 season... then wait until the draft pick isn't ready and needs at least a couple of years to develop, they will whine why the tank? Lol One has to just look at the Timberwolves and Suns for an example.... /shivers
Just got to enjoy having a winning team.![]()
