I mean I expected the team to win the Rockets are awful this season and Chris Paul isn't playing well, it's not just Melo. Only that they have to respect their opponent regardless. Anyone can win in the NBA if players in the team don't bring it, but other Rockets aren't good this season.

I don't think he was all that good on them. Paul is just a weird player to guard one way or that other, because he can overthink his situation and bail a guy out. Anyways, the plan still has to be to get more grit and confidence on that end of the court. Don't go down unless they force you to. The Spurs aren't getting calls for falling right now, whether they're deserved or not.

I think he was protected from matchup a lot. Pop was very reluctant to play him if you recall which I didn't even know why. But he has looked soft and I think once guys figure out they can attack him they will exploit him. He has been disappointing tbh.

agreed. He looks very promising. starting to see the value of letting players play a year in Austin before time with the big club. The learn at the expense of the farm club and after a year, they are ready for the system. Tough to be a rookie and unfamiliar with a complex system. He looks very comfortable out there.

White is 25 and played college basketball. I think he would look the same if he played consistent NBA minutes last year. It's just Pop not wanting to play rookies, cause it wouldn't be fair to the 40-year olds he keeps on the team
