Darn, good on him. I don't like reading this as Jaden Ivey is the guy I wanted most in the draft. Maybe I would have went Banchero, but the Spurs never had a shot at trading for the number one pick. I thought the Spurs could have had a realistic shot at the number 4 pick, though, and possibly could have gotten Ivey with it.

Nah Sochan is what the Spurs need and a better all-around player. Yeah there was a possession there his guy blew by Ivey and went scathed to the rim. Ivey will be fun to watch alright, but so is Sochan on how he affects the game on both sides of the court. Not only Sochan will be a defensive anchor of the team, like a Gorilla tape plugging all defensive leaks, but more especially once the coaching staff develops his Point Forward skills, Sochan would be so much special.
