We're good when everybody is concerned... And everybody is concerned when we're making our shoots...

As Joda once said (did he ?): "Too prone to misshoting this team is. Regularity it must acquire to a le win."

but he gets to the FT line and rebounds decently

and in close games, getting more trips to the charity stripe can be the difference between a win or a loss, no?
Yeah, I don't think the trade would be a bad thing at all, but what this team really needs is some god damn heart.

To be fair, if we need Corey ing Magette as a savior, then this team probably isn't good enough with or without him. Magette isn't going to light a fire with his effort or hard work.
He for damn sure wouldn't have been settling for jumpers tonight, and he sure would have been taking it to the rack strong, unlike #21.

trade manu-he is not good at all anymore (i think he took steroids or something in 05 to have been that good..now he is just not the same player)!
Shake yourself. He laid an egg. It happens. Oh, and ask for a name change if you're going to punk out, Emanuel20.

    3. Tech don't work to fire a team up when you are down big in the middle of the fourth quarter. Try coaching your team in the timeouts like maybe telling Tim to keep the ball off the ground. It's sad to be leader in turns time and time again. Eric Snow didn't in the offensively but was probably the most effective player in the game behind Hughes.
techs like that work only at home when you can get the home crowd riled up too...they don't work on the road. sometimes i wonder about pop

Damn, I hate to about everything, but why was Finley riding the bench when he was actually hitting shots?
The one game where he did deserve more playing time than Brent Barry, Barry gets the minutes instead....

I really am just sick of Pops rotations for the most part. They're especially horrible this year.

I don't disagree that a trade might help the Spurs, but I think they can still win a 'ship with the team they have.

But it starts at the top and Tim is the top, when he shows heart the rest of the team will follow.

I kinda like this loss, actually. The Spurs defense was pretty damn solid. They held the Cavs down and made them shoot some tough shots. You force Larry Hughes to beat you with his jumper and you usually win those games.

The problem was the Spurs' offense ... and that is correctable. Duncan was playing at like 20% and compounded it with his cry baby whining. I remember the good ol' days when Tim Duncan was just a basketball player.

And the Spurs aren't going to win many when Bowen and Manu miss their first 13 shots.

It serves the Spurs right for whining like es about "the new ball" and then getting the old ball back and not being able to hit the broad side of an AT&T Center.

it's weird how the cavs have the spurs' number for some reason when they can't beat other lesser teams...kind of like how golden state has the mavs' number even though the texas teams are the better teams...in the end, it doesn't really matter unless spurs/cavs end up in the finals in which case i guess they'd have a slight mental edge but little experience

which is why i question pops coaching this year. no in-game adjustments just his methodical rotations...inability to sense and stop momentum changes. and his lack of awareness of the hot hand...fin and horry were playing great and they were glued to the bench.

pop really needs to get in timmy's ass and tell him to man up and ball. his whining to the refs for bailout calls and his carelessness with the ball is beginning to piss me off. , how many times was he stripped. at some point i expected him to keep the ball high like kevin mchale but this dood just kept doing that soft over and over again...wtf???

Each team's overall stats were almost identical. Both teams had a hard time shooting and were struggling a bit with the ball.

My only real complaint is our lack of aggressiveness. IMO, Cleveland won the game because they played with energy for 48 minutes. If we could just do that and quit looking for calls, I think we'd have a different outcome tonight.

cavs would get s-t-o-m-p-e-d stomed in a finals series with San Antonio.

Unless the refs get involved (a la Dwayne Wade style against Dallas)
