i watched the game while doing some work on my laptop. just saw the boxscore and was surprised that the FTAs were low for both teams, 14. duncan had 10 of those...did parker not drive to the hole tonight? what about manu? wtf happened with those two because obviously duncan had a great game, despite not making that last shot
parker and gino were takin out of the game and settled for jump shots. manu was poor from the outside
Up there with the 3 Championship banners
T-mac loves going off against everyone.
I don't think you all saw the other night when he had 32 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter in Dallas.
Once he starts making all of his shots, the team gets so dangerous, because of double teams and kick outs for wide open 3's. I wish the Rockets the best in the coming years, but this is our year thank you.
The roof, the roof.
Remember that day? I forget if Holt went with the fist pump or the imaginary slot pull.
This is a little off subject but I need to vent this my Spurstalk brethren.
I went to the game tonight and was pretty bummed out as I realized that my "Going to the Game" record over 5 games has now gone to 1-4. Pathetic. The atmosphere was tense as Rocket fans chanted and Spurs fans grumbled. As I walked to the car, I'm thinking things can't get worse and then a huge fight breaks out right in front of me. I figured some of the rowdy Rockets fans were fans mixing it up with Spurs fans but there was no Rockets apparel amongst the combatants. I'm left to assume that it was Spurs Fan-on-Spurs Fan violence. In our own parking lot no less. This disturbed me more than Pops decision to once again, go small.
was the fight at least bad ass? if so explain the situation.
cornbread sounds good right now for some reason![]()
It was a pretty crazy fight, by anybody's standards. It's hard to gauge how many people were throwing down. I'd say at least 6. One older guy got pretty jacked by two younger guys. Then as the younger guys moved on and started throwing down with some other folks, the old guy took off his belt and started swinging the buckle around like a mace. Then he slipped and fell on his on ass before he even got close to the guys he was going after, which was pretty funny and also a little sad. The was really getting crazy and violent at this point so I moved on and told the parking attendents to get some cops over there.
This fight was pretty embarassing. As Spurs fans, I've always thought that we hold ourselves to a higher standard that began with the D-Rob era and the example that he set and other followed. This was disgraceful.
Which ones were the Parker fans and which ones were the Manu fans?
man i wish the spurs would throw down like that. well that had to be better than the outcome of the game right? i would be laughin my ass off.
it was probably one parker fan against all those manumaniacs
The parker fan said "manu had a bad game" and that was all she wrote!
he got his ass tore up

It was damn funny when the guy started swinging his belt. But fights get disturbing when somebody's getting their head kicked in by like 3 people. And there were your typical Spurs Grannies and families with kids trying to get their cars and these guys were flying all over the main walkway in the northeast parking lot. It just pissed me off. The Spurs should be winning. We should be high-5-ing each other and telling the Rockets fans to enjoy the ride home. We should NOT be fighting our own fans in our own parking lot after an embarassing loss.
You could be right about that.
Well this is a new Dark age for us, something we havent felt like in about 11 years.
