Would you wake the f-ck up? Please?
Duncan alone had 7 turnovers. Manu with 4.
Would you wake the f-ck up? Please?
That is because other spurs cannot shoot, and Jazzs can double them.
would you get off your drugs
Thursday a toss up???!?! Are you ing serious?
The rotation needs to be tightened period. Elson looked decent tonight. Ime has the fire, compassion and compe ive hunger we need. He needs 25-30 minutes a game, even if that means play Vaughn less so be it. Let Manu run point. There's always a 5 minute stretch where we have Vaughn Oberto Horry Manu and another wing out there and we just about always fall in some sort of whole and it's getting old.
solid 7 turnover are typicaly for duncan?
if the Spurs shld add another player before deadline I hope they think of one who is not just a role player but one who can really score. This might be Duncan's last shot of repeating. Who know's TP will sign with another team next yr or so. I say this because I think it's just what I saw in him now. He's one player who looked like he doesn't care if he gets traded. I condemned those who started those rumors about him bec it started the distraction on way or another.
Still, I'm behind you Spurs.
THE REPEAT IS STILL POSSIBLE.
Spurs need to run off 8 WINS in a row, to make up for these terrible back to back losses.
Give Tim Duncan 20 shots already. He was like 5-6 at the half. He needs ten shots each half.
Every time the Spurs made a run, Utah answered. That is the problem with digging yourself a hole to start the game. You can't show up for only part of the game and think you will win.
The Spurs had a grand total of 11 assists- Williams had 14 of his own along with Boozer's 7. Tony had more turnovers than assists and Vaughn had no assists in 15 minutes of playing time. Every big man not named Tim sucked.
yeah - the 1st half wasn't even over and the Spurs had 9 turnovers - with the Jazz scoring 13 points off those turnovers. And the Spurs were only down 5 at that point!
I mean the Jazz had what, 13 steals tonight?! That's totally unacceptable! However, in the Spurs defense, many of those steals probably would've been called as fouls with a different officiating crew.![]()
Oh, and as far as Ime being tossed - I have to agree with Sean - Ime was just fed up with the Jazz flopping around and all the stupid fouls being called. He wanted to play a compe ive game - not a game of "let's see who's the better flopper."![]()
LESS PT FOR VAUGHN????? HOLY CHRIST>>>What a great idea!!!! Something is wrong in Tony's personal life to have a game like this..remember I said it....
From now, the spurs are fighting for a playoff spot!
Of course we get in a hole every game!!! Only ONE, count 'em, ONE, starter is a consistent scorer. Tim Duncan. Oberto can't score, Bowen can't score, Finley only occasionally scores, and Parker is MIA. I'm sick of Pop thinking Manu can come off the bench and fix this problem every single f-cking night.
Those tickets are as good as mine. 7 game win streak ahead for the Spurs.
I checked the box scores, and Vaughn just have 1 turnover (I know, it could be wrong). It was painful seeing Parker forcing his drives and bricking his jumpshots.
Vaughn at least did better than Parker tonight.
I think if they just hit their threes, stop with the lazy turnovers, and Parker gets his explosiveness back towards the end of the season, we don't even need a trade.
THE REPEAT IS STILL POSSIBLE.
Either or; we have good chances for both.
We need that from ime to start the game. We don't need to be in a hole that we can't come back from every first quarter. Michael can jack up shots from the bench.
I'm starting to think he wants to be traded too. Maybe he and Eva want to go to LA be like Posh and Beck. I really wouldn't be surprised.
Yeah, we're now acknowledged to be a poor 3-pt shooting team in the game plan.
Even Manu's threat is suspect. Though I would like to see Timmy and Manu do that two man game, because it gives Timmy more space between the double team.
It's time for you to sleep.
I'm still confused...How did Udoka get the first technical? He and Boozer were arguing? If it was double tech, then why didn't the Spurs get one technical foul shot?
Gotta give big props to Manu for an amazing game...29 pts, 9-9 FTs, in the fourth quarter, it seemed like he was the only one playing especially. Timmy did play pretty good with his 26 points, but 7 TOs is very unlike him at all...I'm really worried about TP right now, he just doesn't look healthy out there at all...He had another bad game...And what's happening with Finley and Bruce? And Oberto? Horry? Pop's decisions? I think Udoka did a really good job, I'm still confused why he got kicked out??
what's the actual conference standing for the Spurs right now #6, right?
Man isn't that the truth! It's gotten so I cringe every time he shoots! Either that, or he drives in the lane - right into 3 or 4 defenders and loses the ball! It's been a long time since Tony has played this poorly. It was painful seeing Parker forcing his drives and bricking his jumpshots.
We can't just rely on Manu to save the day every game. SOMEBODY else - not named Tim - needs to step up and start hitting their shots.
EXACTLY!! Stubborn goat Poppavitch has to realize his rotation no longer works. We can no longer dig a hole every single game and struggle to catch up.
We need to start Manu and Ime. And maybe even Vaughn for a while.
Imagine if the Celtics decided to have Ray Allen on the bench to start every game? You think they'd have such a great record?
