TD to me is one of the 10 best players of all time. I am 27 years old and he is the 2nd best in my lifetime i have ever seen, Jordan being the best. I think he can win 6 rings, if he stays healthy. Watch him retire with that much bling and the haters will have no choice but to admit they were wrong about his all time status.
But but but but, he's boooooooooring!

I'm not lamenting it. I was just trying to illustrate in concrete terms how bunched up the West is. It's crazy.

It was disappointing to see the Spurs squander away a 17pt lead, it should have been a blowout

It was disappointing to see them let the Hornets back in it.
It wasn't surprising, the Spurs get complacent with big leads all the time.

I think it was beneficial that they withstood the Hornets run and got the win. It was good to see the poise, the Championship form, the ability to keep it together and make the plays they had to for the win.

I think that serves a purpose that a blowout doesn't. They need to remember how to win tight games, how to keep the focus and not give up when a good team comes back on them.

remember how to win tight games? you forget the Minny game already?

and why would a veteren team where almost the entire roster has a le, need to remember how to win tight games?

The Wolves game is another good example.

The Spurs have come out of their mid-winter blues, during that slump it looked like they forgot everything about being Champions.
This is when they put it together, riding the bonding of the RRT into SPAM.

It's a long season, a grind to get to April. The ups and downs get the most devoted Spurs fan wondering if they will even make the Playoffs, never mind go all the way.

No team holds it together for the entire 82 games. My point about remembering how to win tight games is just that. This is when the Spurs "remember" who they are and their focus gets clearer. Their goal is in sight now, it's easier to see in February than in November.

told ya you'd win if you played some defense. Hornets are a house of cards. They are gonna fall to 4th place in the SW division in about a week. Mavs will stay in 3rd place and like I said before. Slugfest between the Rockets and Spurs for the SW Division.

You're 100% right, and that's a much better way to look at it
