Been away from any news channel as of the past 2 days. And holy this whole Muslim has spun completely out of control from Trump.

Still Trump has the whole RNC cucked. None of them have the balls to say a word about him. Ryan

begins by establishing how completely awful a candidate trump is, but then goes into how the democrats are the boys that cried wolf one too many times...

If you listen to Democrats, every Republican who has run for anything in my lifetime has Klan robes in their closet and secret Confederate memorabilia collection.

When Trump joked that maybe Russian President Vladimir Putin could find Clinton’s missing emails, the Hillary-friendly precincts of Twitter erupted with accusations of #TrumpTreason. In a nationally televised speech, Clinton’s obscure Obama-administration colleague Leon Panetta tut-tutted at an “irresponsible” Trump asking one of our “adversaries to engage in hacking … against the United States of America.”

Of course, foreign data theft is nothing to laugh at. But the pilferage of old yoga schedules and plans for a wedding long-consummated hardly seem the kind of thing to require the involvement of an old CIA director long-retired.

And, well, calling Russia an “adversary” seems unnecessarily dramatic. It wasn’t long-ago that Clinton’s obscure Obama-administration colleague Barack Obama was laughing at the previous wild-eyed lunatic nominated by Republicans as their presidential candidate. Mitt Romney had called Russia a “foe.”

“The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years,” Obama smirked.

Before the convention, Hillary Clinton herself launched an attack on Trump that blew past ters and giggles and straight into guffaw territory. Trump is terrifying enough with the power of social media, she intoned, but “imagine if he had not just Twitter and cable news to go after his critics and opponents, but also the IRS."

Yes, imagine a president who would abuse the powers of the IRS. Not to paint Clinton with the unfair and overbroad brush of guilt by association, but the administration in which she served as secretary of State, twice, accidentally, released the private taxpayer information of its political opponents at moments that, perhaps inadvertently, were politically damaging. And then there was the “targeting” of the administration’s Tea Party opponents by the Obama administration IRS while Clinton was coincidentally serving as secretary of State. For non-political reasons no doubt, the Obama administration is still fighting in court to keep the full details of those events from the public eye.

Then on Thursday night in her big speech, Clinton attacked him again. She rightly pointed out that all a foreign leader has to do to get a rise out of Trump is launch a malicious tweet. God save us when Trump can respond to digital provocations by replying with megatons instead of megabytes. No tweet would ever get a response from Clinton. She doesn't respond unless she gets served with a subpoena ; engraved in stone; in triplicate.

I support neither. Hillary has called Pat Smith a liar (irony alert), but the MSM largely ignores that.

TRUMP BOLSTERS FOREIGN-POLICY TEAM BY ADDING CARSON AND PALIN

NEW YORK — After stumbling badly on an interview question about Ukraine, the Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump attempted on Tuesday to

reassure voters about his geopolitical expertise by adding the retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and the former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to his team of foreign-policy advisers.

“Donald Trump always said that, as President, he would surround himself with the best people,” Trump’s spokesperson, Hope Hicks, said.

“In Governor Palin and Dr. Carson, Mr. Trump now has the Dream Team.”

Speaking to reporters, Palin dismissed the controversy over Ukraine as “much ado about a gotcha question.”

“Donald Trump is one hundred and ten percent correct when he says that no one needs to be worrying about Ukraine,” she said. “If you look Ukraine up on Google Maps, like I just did, it’s right where it’s always been.”

Dr. Carson said that, as President, Donald Trump would support the territorial integrity of Ukraine and “its magnificent network of underground grain tunnels.”

“I cannot overemphasize the importance of Ukraine’s grain pipeline,” he said. “If you choke off Ukraine, Europe cannot bake bread.”

Trump’s spokesperson said that the additions to his foreign-policy brain trust should give voters “great confidence” that a Trump White House would be equal to the challenge of an international crisis.

“When that 3 a.m. call comes in, and Mr. Trump is busy on Twitter, Dr. Carson and Governor Palin will be there to take the call,” she said.

There is something very wrong with Donald Trump

Why denigrate the parents of a soldier who died serving his country in Iraq?

And why keep it going for four days?

Why assail the record of a decorated general who commanded U.S. forces in Afghanistan?

Why make fun of the stature of a popular former mayor of New York?

Surely Trump must know that at any convention, including his own, people get up and criticize the opposition party’s nominee. They get their shots in, just as your party got its shots in. And then you move on to the next phase of the campaign.

You don’t take a crack at every single person who criticized you.

And you especially don’t pick fights that you can’t possibly win, such as against a grieving Gold Star mother or a general. It’s simply not in your interest to do so.

The fact that Trump could not help himself, that he clearly did, as

he said, want to “hit” everyone who spoke against him at the Democratic convention, suggests that there really is something wrong with the man.

It is not just that he is incapable of empathy.

It is not just that he feels he must respond to every criticism he receives by attacking and denigrating the critic, no matter how small or inconsequential.

If you are a Republican, the real problem, and the thing that ought to keep you up nights as we head into the final 100 days of this campaign, is that the man cannot control himself.

He cannot hold back even when it is manifestly in his interest to do so.

What’s more, his psychological pathologies are ultimately self-destructive.

(Disclosure: I was a guest speaker at a fundraiser for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton last month; I have no role with her campaign.)

    Repugs are SO ED!

But both the Repugs and the Dems probably don't realize why protest candidates got such huge support, and still do.
