Not that I'd say otherwise, but who are those gettable shooters/defenders? It's not like other teams are not valuing such players.
Wemby being able to see over everyone leverages his passing ability more than other players too. He doesn't have to have Manu's passing IQ for his passes to have a similar impact on the game due to the passes he is physically able to make that Manu couldn't.
Really more a tweet about how it would be helpful to have some better defenders around Wemby, but doubles as a Tweet showing off how good of a defender Wemby is. C-Bass also makes a guest appearance!

Not getting the teammate d lebron axis. Does that mean the overall teammate d lebron relative to the player (about -0.4 compared to wemby, which is really good) or overall d lebron (which would be really bad).
Also not sure why basseys teammate d LeBron would be lower than wemby, given that they are each others teammates and wemby has a much better d LeBron wouldn’t and Wembys teammate d LeBron be lower than bassey?
To question 1: It's not relative to Wemby, but their overall D Lebron rating (excluding Wemby)
To question 2: I think it has to do who the actually share the court with during their minutes, not the D Lebron rating of everyone else on the team. So, Bassey is on the floor with even worse defenders than Wemby is.

We likely see Wemby regardless on Sunday eve at the AS game as the winner of Friday’s rising stars plays in the semi final Sunday in the new format. No way sophmores lose to Rookies with a healthy Wemby, Miller, Thompson twins, even Scoot can go off against this rookie class.
Wemby is almost assured to be a lock for the AS game at this point. He might not make starter, but he'll definitely be a reserve at a minimum.
He's a lock to start becuse the format is that 3 teams of 8 players and he'll surely be one of the 15 starters.
I’d honestly almost rather see him and Brandon Miller trying to bust the AS players tbh. Would bring back more compe ion to the event.
