WR Marcus Washington (St. Louis, MO)
2020 CB Dwight McGlothern (Cedar Hill Trinity Christian)
I watched some of the tOSU TCU game and one thing I can tell you about the TCU QB, he throws up a lot of duck passes and puts enough air on them for his Wrs to make a play, however he also gives the opportunity for the safeties to make a play. This could be good for us. I fully expect them to make a few plays in the passing game, but don't be surprised if Sterns and Jones have a huge day and get a couple of picks.
The receiver to watch out for is Raegor, that guys is a play maker, if you can hide your coverage and put a safety on Raegor over the top double you have a solid chance of getting that pick.
The TCU oline is good, they held a pretty salty tOSU dline in check for most of that game. It helps that the TCU QB almost never holds onto the ball for longer than 3 seconds. It seems all his passes are designed to go to a specific player on a timing pattern.
These guys run the out of the jet sweep, this would be a good week to learn how to stop it.
Robinson is a lot like Ehlinger, if they are behind he will take some chances trying to make a play. If we are ahead in the 4th Texas needs to drop about 7 in coverage, rush 3 and have a guy mirroring Robinson. He will make a stupid mistake.
On defense, they are small and can be pushed around, this would be a good game for some long drives using tempo, I'm hoping Ingram is back we could use his running. If he can't go I expect a heavy dose of Watson and Young. I think this is a game that if we stick to the run we will ware down the TCU dline and those 3 and 4 yard runs will turn into 8 or 10 yard runs.
I spy Javonne Shepherd and Tyler Johnson dancing around in the crowd.
The Football Brainiacs were able to confirm the commitment is a 2019 kid.
My guess is Washington or the three star DB which name slips my mind right now.
IT and 247 have confirmed that there’s two committed recruits out there.
You thinking Owens from Plano East?
If so, I agree.
Yes him!
Per 24/7, the Houston North Forest coach has confirmed that OL Javonne Shepherd is not on the team at this time due to behavioral issues.
He was not going to be able to take an official visit to A&M on October 6th because he had a game, but that's no longer the case.
What other tackles do we have on the big board? These things always end bad.
Not many other than Coker and the new JUCO offer, Olaseni.
Unless you send out some new offers, you're going to have to win some games and attempt to make a flip.
I thought maybe Hand could try to get back in with Buford from St. Louis, but he's not a tackle.
Word is he was arrested for breaking into the Houston zoo and sodomizing a grizzly bear. When asked why the bear, he said, "I like it when they struggle".
Inside Texas reporting 2020 DE Alfred Collins of Bastrop Cedar Creek has picked up a UT offer.
