The main thing is, he would've had to have beaten so many more top 10 players in the league during this run in the West to get to the Finals. Dirk & Kobe earlier on, Westbrook, Durant, Parker, Kawhi, Harden, Paul, Griffin, Curry, Draymond. In the East, he may have had Rose/Dwight for a year, maybe PG although that's arguable.
