a CP3 to the Clippers trade might be the best chance for the Spurs to get Kaman, if they trow in their 1st rounder 2012.
(ignoring all guys who will quickly claim Kaman isn't worth that pick, while they bash the FO for doing nothing)
Kaman isn't of much value for the Horntes as long as they have Okafor. but they will need his contract number in the deal, now that they payed Jordan and have little cap space left.

Spurs can't take on Kaman's salary without Jefferson's bloated number, but there's no way I could picture the Hornets willing take on that mess when they're being primed for a sale.

Kaman isn't a realistic target. He has a $12.7M and a 15% trade kicker. numbers just don't work for Spurs.

It's a pretty sure bet that when Kaman goes somewhere, the Spurs will be blamed for not "doing anything" to get him.

Kaman is not realistic, however, if this trade goes through then Okafor would be. Don't think the Spurs would be willing to invest so much money on him, though, even if they're able to prepare some sort of a package around Dice's contract.

I thought the Spurs should try to get Paul Millsap.
While Jazz has Favors, they might want a transaction like Millsap for Dice + Blair + pick/Joseph.

Good, McRoberts will not hurt the Spurs as Mayo often did in the last years ... Grizzlies will look a little different this year.
Yeah but they get Rudy Gay back.

Less Mayo = More Tony Allen. That's a good thing for the Grizzlies.

Yeah but they get Rudy Gay back.
I already posted several times that Gays return might lead to some interesting dynamics on offense for the Grizzlies ... less pounding the ball in the inside I guess, which is a good thing for the Spurs when they play them ...

Is JJ setting himself up to be a career backup or something? The Timberpups already have their #1 pick PG, why would they start JJ over him?

Dallas is trying to move Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer to create more cap space, league sources tell Y!

Corey Brewer is an idiot. He could have signed with a bunch of teams that wanted him and got significant playing time. Instead, he signed with the Mavs who only wanted him to keep him away from other teams. Now they want to dump him. They should be forced to live with each other.

Rudy Fernandez sucks and he has a bad back. No thanks.

This is clearly another example of Cuban simply making trades and acquiring players, not to necessarily improve his team, but as some sort of a human chess match, where he attempts to trump the compe ion.

And yes, Brewer is a dumb-ass. He didn't get to play much when he got to Dallas. Sure he got a ring, as a non-contributor, but now he's being used as a pawn. I wonder how if he regrets not coming to S.A. now?

If anything, it almost felt like at the time Cuban snatched up Brewer just so the Spurs wouldn't. With all their depth at the SF spot, I wouldn't be surprised if he barely gets any time this season as well.

They're trying to create cap space, you're offering them RJ. Cuban would laugh it.
