I kind of have mixed feelings when it comes to Cubs fans. On one hand it is annoying how much attention they get and how many celebrity fans they have- almost like the Red Sox of the Midwest. On the other hand there a ton of dyed-in-the-wool Cubs fans that stick with their team through thick and thin. Those people deserve respect. And I've been to Wrigley Field and Wrigleyville with Tribe gear and was treated great. The "Curse" talk always annoyed me, maybe because I've had to hear that crap as a Cleveland fan. That's one thing I'll always give White Sox fans credit for- they went 88 years without winning a World Series but you never heard any "Curse" talk out of them.
Anyway, if they win I won't begrudge them. They'll deserve their day in the sun. Hopefully that day will be in another year, though.

It would be cool to see the Indians pull this out after all of the injuries to their rotation, and Mike Napoli is my favorite ex-Ranger. Also, it feels like the Cubs have been crowned since April. Not that I have anything against them, it's just been Cubs, Cubs, Cubs all season long.
That kinda makes it even more impressive that they've made it this far with relative ease. We've seen the anointed teams fall flat on their faces many times in baseball, the Nationals in particular have made a habit of this.
