Danny making a clutch reverse layup over a great rim protector in the last minute of the game was pretty incredible.
Dude is a clutch mother er. Klay Thompson may be the better player but LDN s more clutch plays than Klaytus makes shots in the fourth.

He needs to be resigned. It's going to be difficult to even keep this group together as both Patty and Dedmon will get paid. One more reason I don't like the Pau contract.

I mean, it was great he made it, tbh, but he's the last guy you want dribbling the ball when it's a clouseout moment of the game, IMO...

But it's not his fault, tbh, LMA just basically put him in that position.

Ugly then redemptive at the end
    Could be worse
Dedmon seems legit and was huge with rebounding hustle and a dunk in crunch time
Is LA on drugs or something?
    Lamarcus with a horrible game.

I don't think that'll happen. And you never know, he sees a guy like Manu who's been a 6th man, and Patty is a starting caliber guy in some scenarios.

I also think it's important not to overreact. Pau had some good games during that 9 game streak and showed good high/low action with LMA and chemistry in general.

Wouldn't be surprised if Dedmon plays = or more mins than him and closes games. That's really what matters, who plays in critical moments
Pau is part of the reason for terrible defense to start games... if only Lamacus was a better passer. MVPau passing game and bbiq is his saving grace but he doesn't play defense...

Pop should try to make a deal at the arena where the Mavs get Pau/Kyle in exchange for Bogut/Curry.
I mean I am looking at stat lines and it's cheap to hate on Kyle when you look at the game that LMA put together in 32 minutes vs Kyle in 15... really.

Bogut would have been a better fit on a short term deal since he can pass & also play interior D (he's a terrible at covering PnRs as Patty roasted him in the 4th quarter)

Porky/Manure can play their 20 minutes while Patty/Curry steal minutes.

That's why I suggested the Tyson Chandler for Pau swap just in case someone offers Dedmon a Biyombo type contract. I guess they could still dump Pau on the Mavs since Bogut is most likely not going to re-sign or they could still do the Pau/Chandler swap over the summer if Dedmon is gone.

Danny making a clutch reverse layup over a great rim protector in the last minute of the game was pretty incredible.
In the context of his career, it is incredible, but in the context of this season, it is no big deal. I have remarked in 3 or 4 threads that Danny must have worked tirelessly on his handles and passing this past off-season. He is handling the ball as much as last season, but nobody has mentioned it, because he is so successful at it this season. When I posted this in another thread Drom John posted Danny's assist figure through the first 9 games in which he has played since 2011-12 season (IIRC). He is averaging about 2 and a half assists/game. The next best was 2011-12 when he averaged 1.71 assists. Admittedly it is a small sample, but at this rate, Danny will average a full assist over his career average.

I haven't bothered to look up his TO figures, but I bet they show a similar level of improvement.

Damn not a single highlight up on the usual YT pages...guess that's what happens when you play the Mavs

Hopefully they'll be up shortly. Looking forward to seeing Mills and Dedmon.
