Doubt we see any Kawhi counter-parts to this photo. Quite a contrast between the respective cir stances of DeMar and Number 2. DeMar being pushed away from a city, a team and fans to which he was completely dedicated, while Number 2 shunned the city, team and fans that had supported him. Fans in Toronto sad to see one of their franchise greats going to another team, while fans in SA are relieved to see Kawhi banished to the frozen north.
Raptor fans are crappy fans. I have read what they have had to say about the Spurs and the Kawhi situation. They are already defending Kawhi and badmouthing the Spurs. I will take satisfaction when Kawhi bails on Toronto and their team is in the lottery for the next 10 years. that fan base.

Looks like a typical DeRozan stat line, perhaps with a few more missed 3s than normal.

Drew League seems like a circus. Sometimes they look like they play serious, sometimes it just looks like they don't care at all on "D". One thing is for sure, Derozan's Defense is non existent in these Drew League games. Hope he gets better on defense or we are in for some trouble.
His defense will get exposed, right? How can it not?
I still think the damage can be minimized, but it'll be a tough one.
I almost guarantee Pop is going to him with the mindset of just you do you, but buy into our defensive system.
On O, you're good. I won't change what you're good at, but we have a Defensive system here and it needs you to be a part of it.

i agree. Pop will have to sell him on giving more effort on defense. Good thing about his offense is that he seems like a good and willing passer. Hopefully it’s not 100% iso ball
