I,personally,don't expect anything from DeMar in the last two minutes of play.I expect him to perform well for 3 and a half quarters.

Pop gambled there, i have no problem with that gamble since we have done it in the past(granted we had HOFamers then). Derozan was very good the previous game and Pop gambled there because we only had one time out left. I watched it again and you are right there was some traffic (two players basically) but you said it yourself, Pop thought he was gonna give it to the wide open Patty but Derozan was stripped right as he was about to give the ball(he should've given it earlier but Derozan's IQ isn't HOF lvl tbh). We don't disagree that much but i still have no problem with Pop's decision.

He had zero turnover though. Who said he had to score? You want the ball in hands of your best ballhandler so he can create shots for his teammates.

Honestly, White is not the best ball handler. He is not adept at getting in the lane and many times has to settle for simple perimeter passes. He is not a natural PG. I want him playing SG coming hard off screen and rolls or getting the ball on the wings when the offense is already moving instead of being the initiator of it. He is best once he has rhythm and is dashing in the lane at full speed or finding pick and rolls where he is getting to the lane. Spurs need a penetrating pg. I think DJ's larger shoulder frame and mentality can provide this better than White. White on the other hand needs to definitely focus on making plays and not running pg. my 2 cents.
