I don't think there are many effort issues on this roster.
It's their limit, they're just a bunch of low IQ, fundamentally flawed players.
Effort can't win you many games against competent teams.
Pacers are one of the most in form teams in the league and winning a game against them was unexpected, tbh.

Which is why I've been saying that Wemby raising the floor of this team to a Play-In contender is the worst thing that could happen to us right now tbh. Spurs desperately need another top-5 pick this year. This roster is bottom-6 in the league outside of Wemby.

We don't need a top5 pick, we need some players who can actually play basketball right now.
What are we supposed to do? Wait for 2 more years until our 2025 pick develops? Outside top2 noone seems ready to be a legit contributor right away.

He had like 12 points in 3 mins this 2nd quarter. Idk how more “nuclear” you can be. Hard to win when you’re 2nd option has 3pts at half time aside from the other issues like turnovers and rebounding.

That is semi nuclear. Nuclear for me would be a 50 point game which it looks like we'll need from him to win this game.

Neither should ever dribble or make playmaking decisions... They're both ppl who finish plays... Champ shoots... Sochan gets wide open layups when his man completely ignores him to disrupt our offense

ST loves Champ bc he's cheap, but IDGAF if he's such a liability in so many areas...

We only have one tricks pony in this roster, whatever positive they bring, they cost double with their limitations smh

Now that the Spurs won the last game on an emotional high, and embarrassed the Pacers on the world stage, it's back down to earth, and the Pacers are looking for revenge this time. I'd be surprised if Johnson makes adjustments to get the team back into the game. I do see the Pacers keep their feet on the Spurs neck and keep it rolling in the 2nd half and put the Spurs to bed early.
