are you serious!?? The whole game Australia played like CRAP! and then in 10 minutes or so they score 3 goals. The result is going to go a long way to cover how bad Australia really is. Brasil is going to go for broke on the 18th, I'm predicting a 6 - 0 win for Brasil, and I'm being lenient. Australia has a well organized team, with good passing skills and a solid defence, but when it comes to individual talent of their forwards, its practically not there.

Japan... what can I say? its becoming clear exactly how corrupted the officiating was in 2002 for this team to have made it that far.

Still a win is a win, and I have to say the last 10 minutes showed real heart from the Aussies and some ed up mistakes from Japan. All in all the team that deserved it won. Having said that, this game is meaningless, neither team is making it out of group E.

P.S. WTF are Aloisi and Cahill doing on the bench???

you are holding australia to the standard of Argentina... as someone who wathces a crappy team on regular basis (slovenian NT) i say they played nice and much better than i expected them. and if they beat croatia i'll be happy.

stop being arrogant man, japan played okay till they messed up at the end, they showed the weakness and vulnerable of the of the australian defense, you see the wing players kept on penetrating and the aus defenders do untill they got inside the box and stuff up
