Its worth it, but I am barely past the first boss and have been playing ahwile, its way ing harder than the last one
haha I'm doing that as well. I should really buy it though. I get paid next week.

How many boss battles have you been in? Are they memorable like that three headed Hydra?
Dude, the Colossus fight at the beginning is pretty ing bad ass.
I suck at this game, I keep ing getting killed. I dont understand
That reminds me. Shadow of the Collosuses is one of the best games I've ever played. That's for anyone who hasn't played that game. Truly epic.
BTW mardigan, your services are needed in another thread.![]()
Dude, that game was the ! I cant wait till I get to the level on here where you ride Pegasus
I have never played a game where every enemy was a boss fight. You would think you would get tired of it or pass the game quickly but that wasn't the case. That game is truly underrated.
Most people talked about that game just because of the downtime in it, but I just thought that it made it super sweet when you got to the bosses
Oh looking for the bosses was part of the genius of the game. It gives you time to rest so you can tackle the next one.
I think the one with the flying monster where you had to shoot it with arrows to bring it down was one of the best that sticks out besides the end boss. Too awesome.
Just popped in God of War 2 right now, looking good. If what I heard about it being way long than part 1, I'll be occupied for a while.
You will contract a disease first that manifests into vampirism the next time you rest! So, the trick is, use a spell like Cure Disease (or create one if youre a full fledge member of the Mage's Guild) or goto any Church and purify yourself at the main altar before you rest.
Ico.
nuff said.
you sure do like bursting bubbles, but in my opinion that doesn't sound like much fun.
Is Icon fun?
I couldn't stand the demo.
Damnit, I can't stop playing GOW2. I really should save this game for next month.
If you're into hip-hop, it can be fun, because you can sign artists, release singles, but the actual fighting aspect is a little boring after a while. You can import your own mp3's to fight along to, so thats another good thing.
I see a few of you guys have played Viva Pinta. I just d/l the demo yesterday off Live. How's the actual game? I've always been intrigued to play it but never wanted to buy it and feel disappointed or go rent it for a ridiculous 8 dollars. In the demo you get to build a garden and have a few worms romance and that's pretty much it.
TMNT the arcade game from 89' is now available to buy. It's so much fun and brings back good memories from childhood. The 2nd game Turtles in Time was by far my favorite SNES game made.
Hectic. Very, very hectic. Once you get the gist of how it works, it becomes ever more challenging just to keep up with the shear amount of plants, animals, bugs, food chain, etc available to you.
I think VP would have been better suited to a PC...the control scheme sucks for controllers when I think about what it could have been with mouse and keyboard.
You know, the more I think about it, the more I am inclined to state that half the "hectic nature" of VP is attributed to its control scheme. You always feel like youre fighting an uphill battle to propogate a garden.
With all that said, its highly addiciting is you have patience. For todays twitch oriented gameplayers, VP is not up to snuff. But if you enjoy slower paced RPGs, or methodical type games like SimCity and Total War, the pacing is comparable.
Its when you get comfortable with the enviroment that your expectations rise and therefore its gets harder and harder to achieve those expectations. A very intriguing dynamic in that way.
I know Ico is made by the same people who made SOTC but I just couldn't get into that game. Plus it didn't help matters that I got stuck on a part of the game and just flat out gave up.
I don't know how far along you are in your garden, but I think I'm at level 19 right now and it's pretty crazy, hopefully there's another garden size increase, because I'm at the max items for my current size. I've started working on the variants lately and trying to tame the sours. So far so good. But right now, my garden is rarely getting a new visitor, but a cinnamonkey did visit recently.![]()
Here's a good breakdown of the Viva Pinata world:

I remember TMNT: the Arcade game being a little harder. I beat it last night in about 25 mins. Well, I guess that's mostly due to the unlimited continues and the fact that I don't have to put in $10 worth of quarters this time around.
I just saw in the new issue of the SA Current, there's a new restaurant/club opening today a block from the White Rabbit called Gigabites and Java. They have a worldly menu and have 20 flatscreens with PS3's, 360s and PC all hooked up for multiplayer play.![]()
GOW2.....
GOW2.....
Perfection is a blast to play over and over again.
is it that good? i'm thinking about getting it this weekend.
