There's a report in The Times-Picayune that Notre Dame QB Everett Golson reached out to LSU about transferring. He very well could be the QB transfer several sites have been talking about.
New movie coming out on Dallas Carter...

Doubt it, but even so he would not be available until 2016 season. Could you imagine if he was able to transfer over to UT for this season and then goes to South bend for game #1...

Per 24/7, a new name to look out for as the new WRs coach is Ted Gilmore of the Oakland Raiders.
He worked with Coach Watson at both Colorado and Nebraska.

I thought Texas had fallen behind LSU on 2016 LB Jeffrey McCulloch of Aldine Davis, but a source told 24/7, that when Malik Jefferson committed, McCulloch was very close to pulling the trigger in favor of Texas. Texas is still the team to beat here.

I don't think he's committing tonight, but...
Inside Texas mentioned this morning that WR Ryan Newsome hasn't been in contact with the staff since Coach Koenning was fired.

Glad we won't have to deal with him next year.
I noticed a few days ago that WR Van Jefferson of Brentwood (Tenn.) followed a few Texas coaches (Vaughn was the one that caught my attention). He was supposed to be an early enrollee at Georgia, but those plans have changed (he needs some credits in math and he wants to see what Georgia does with their OC position).
According to 24/7, he will take two or three OV's in January. Florida, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M are the teams under consideration. He might take an unofficial visit to Ole Miss.
He is the son of Tennessee ans WR coach Shawn Jefferson.

Not only does Bob Stoops look like a bag for taking him, now he looks dumb as well.
The last guy Vance Bedford followed on Twitter is S Calvin Bundage out of Santa Fe (Ok.). His tapes speaks for itself. Might be a linebacker down the road, but I'm impressed. Hope to hear from him regarding Texas.

I think Newsome is trimming his list down. Hope we make the cut. Interesting about Koenning I thought Tommie Robinson was more involved in his recruitment.
If Harbaughs first line of duty was to offer Omenihu it's great validation we got a good one.
I'm not sure why they worded it that way, but the important part is they haven't spoken in over a week.
It may not be a big deal though since he and Coach Robinson are so close.
Good find, Bloeddyr.
We'll have to watch out for him once Junior Days roll around.
Yeah, I agree...Muschamp was also a big fan of Omenihu.
Inside Texas saying UT has been in contact with RB Auston Banks of Chattanooga, TN very recently:

Preferred walk-on candidate? Aside from height and powerball, his SPARQ numbers are all better than Ryan Newsome's. (And yeah, I know there's a lot, lot more to being a good football player than how you test.)
They said it's definitely not for preferred walk-on.
At least a grayshirt opportunity.
