Nelson has his official to UT next Friday, the 24th. Many reports have him committing while in Austin or shortly after. This is the first I have heard about Notre Dame getting involved, so we'll see if that shakes things up at all. His relationship with Strong and staff should be hard to overcome.

“I'm done (taking visits),” Roberts told Horns247 following his official to Texas this weekend.
“The visit went great,” Roberts said. “I love what Coach Strong is doing at UT.”
“My host was Demarco Cobbs. Real cool guy,” Roberts said. “My favorite part of the visit was spending time with Coach Vaughn.”
“He knows a lot about the game,” Roberts said. “He can help me get where I want to be, plus he's someone I can count on.”
DT Poona Ford of Hilton Head Island, SC talks about his official visit to UT (24/7):
“I'm going to think it over and talk it over with my family,” Ford said. “I guess there's a chance I could shut it down early and commit. I don't know yet.”
“It was really good,” Ford said of the visit. “I had a lot of fun. You could say that Texas is definitely the favorite right now.”
“The academic place they showed us really stood out to me,” Ford said. “I liked that a lot. It caught my attention.”
“Overall I had a pretty good time,” Ford said. “The facilities were very nice and the coaches were great. I enjoyed it.”

Yep. I don't think he played at all in 2013, so 2014 will be his last year of eligibility.

Per OrangeBloods, OL Alex Anderson of New Orleans, LA will be making his final decision tonight.
Didnt he have one more official visit to Arizona State next weekend or sometime soon? If he has cancelled that visit and will be making a decision tonight, then the writing is on the wall for a Texas commitment. Would be a great pick up in my opinion especially since we only have one committed O-Lineman for 2014 thus far.
He left Texas saturday morning and went straight to Arizona State. He'll be back home in Louisiana from Arizona State tonight.
