Are we expecting to hang on to Toneil Carter after this season hard to believe he hasn’t played at all.

Highly doubtful. You want your big guys redshirting so they can develop. Skill guys should be playing immediately or you made a recruiting mistake IMO. He's been recruited over.

It's funny, it seems that Judson kids are looking more at A&M than Texas and Steel kids are looking more at Texas than the Ags. I wonder how that will play out with Kyle Tharp, he is from a total Ag family and I know he has camped at A&M several times already. Should be interesting to see.

Update on WR Elijah Higgins of Austin Bowie after attending the USC game (24/7):

“I had a great time,” Higgins said. “The offense got rolling, and the receivers got the balls in their hands. The atmosphere was ridiculous.”

“Texas is moving in the right direction, and fast,” he said.

“Texas has become more of a real (option) school,” Higgins said. “It’s a program I could be a part of for the next four years.”
