WTF? basketball has been great for most of my 30 seasons watching. Maybe the lockout year and a few boring Finals ...basketball has been great.

Not imo. Last good finals was 2006, before that. I guess
the Lakers were kind of interesting, but so absurdly stacked, it wasn't.
Spurs were boring, played boring teams. East hasn't been good for 10 yrs.
Last years Finals was the beginning, and had Stern not given the trophy to
Lakers, I might think otherwise. And let's face it, the Jordan era, was no
mystery.
