If Duncan had 3 or 4 days between playoff games we would be favorites.
Duncan had 28 points and 19 boards...

just re-checked the box score, my bad. didn't catch the game
I'm a 6'7 NON FAT black dude.
Tbh
Diaw allowed that to happen. We gotta have an intense Boris during the playoffs.
Is intense possible for Boris...
doesn't mean you can fight, tbh
Spurs go up by 8 and then go SCORELESS in the last 2:36...damn...we dodged a bullet there at the end!
When Duncan got that "AND 1", I said to my wife, "I'm glad he made the free throw...that extra point could be the difference." Guess what?
Duncan had a MONSTER game tonight, though...without him, we lose this game by double digits.
Get well soon, TP!
Spurs clinched the playoffs and extended their 50+ game win streak to an NBA-record 14 seasons!
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Why do you even bother responding? If he's not a troll, he's a terrible poster, tbh
Better than a fat spursfan tbh
To be fair, Kawhi had a wide open 3 that could've sealed the game and didn't go in... but our defense saved us
Yes, that.
It's sad, really. Now all you have to do to Manu is blitz the pnr and he's toast.
As for Timmy, all you have to do is take away his jump hook, and he's got nothing on the block anymore. If the Spurs want to seriously compete for a le, then 2 of our top 3 players can't be so easily bottled up.
Really just read the one part about rotating Duncan with Splitter.
Agreed about the poster now that I read the whole thing.
The tbh is unnecessary. I believe you without it.
Really I think I got mammarized by the poster, Suspect... his girl with the glands. Really threw me off...

Yup...Splitter got in VC's face just enough to alter his last shot a bit...otherwise that would've gone in. Defense never rests!
I think that's why Pop went back to defense (besides acquiring talent that can play D). This isn't new. It's been happening for a few playoffs now.
Almost lost the game..played well until the last 1:30mins
Still depressing to watch. Timmy looked great tonight, mobility-wise, but he's still not right down low. Not sure why, or if he will be by the time the playoffs roll around.
Ginobili 2-9
repeatedly tripping overhimself and getting crossed over by Mike James
had more turnovers then was shown in the boxscore such as the bad pass to blair in traffic
game was really about the starters building enough of a lead for the bench to not choke it away
game ended with the Spurs having enough of a lead to not choke it away
Parker's top 5 in the league in clutch scoring so, yeah, TP's absence was noticeable...especially in the fourth.
father time catches up to everybody. We're going to need more from our role players and keep that D strong.
no one on the team can get any penetration
Dallas has a terrible frontcourt and they dont rotate well
with a hobbled Parker its a 20+ win
with a healthy Parker its a 30-40+ win like the other games
Mavs didnt defend the 3 well at all
they didnt have to since SA couldnt create any
no one could get in the paint enough to create the 3 and dish it out
most of the 3s were off broken plays/Neal 3s off a screen/Ginobili 2 for 1
Tim looked really good tonight. Tim's game is not so much of the low post variety, rather mid-range shots. The offense is predicated on passing and floor spacing so the comments about his mobility in the post are nothing new.
I went to the game and have three simple observations. Dallas really attacked the rim when Blair was in the game. The players are pressing and are not staying within the system. Green really misses Parker.
This seems to happen a few times, can't buy a bucket late in a game to save their lives at times.
Late in the game and with no timeout, they often seem to abandon the plays that get them points for the first 45 minutes of games. You see a little more isolation and MUCH less authority when navigating on the Pick and Roll. Long been an annoyance of mine.
