The whole parker thing.... Its funny, the past 2 years, there was similar outcry. He started the year poorly, and came on strong later. Its been that way the past 2 years. With all the injuries to him and games missed, his season is sort of just starting. He will get it going... He's shown glimpses already. Ppl need to be patient.

While it hurts short term with his struggles, there's no other way to get his rhythm back then playing him

Kawhi has still been very good on defense. 3 point shooters aren't hitting below average ..they are still at 38-40% which is par for course.

And Diaw has been bad yes. But Parker? Abysmal.. and thats putting it kindly.
Kawhi has been shooting 33% from downtown. Green has been 28% over the last 5 games not including tonight. Boris has been shooting 31% from 3 this season. Patty 36%. All WELL below career averages.

Kawhi has been good on defense... so that's worth all this praise and "give him the keys, max deal"? When he can't even score 18 points per game with any frequency?

I think Pop should take out Parker when Manu comes in the first quarter of each game. Because otherwise he is wasting Manu's playmaking for the time that Parker stays in.

Tony doesn't really have an excuse - the rest of those guys are getting role player money. Parker's being paid like a star ($14 million a year with $45 million yet to come) but playing like a D-Leaguer. Impossible to win games when you have a large amount of your salary going to a cancerous player. He's our Kobe Bryant unfortunately.

Who gives a about a max contract, dumbass. The fact is, Tony Parker is the only below average player getting major minutes on this team.

The Spurs are literally better when he does not play.

I still think the Spurs are going to win this one, but maybe a loss tonight will be the wake up call they've needed since November.
The old sports haven't woken up yet and god knows how many wake up calls they've gotten
