So there is Jim Brown and Wilt Chamberelain, somehow it got into who was faster, yep.....they rolled up their pant legs, took off their shoes and measured out 40 yards. No way but....Wilt wins. Well Brown just wasn't buying it so they race again, yep...Wilt wins again.
While in HS Chamberlain ran the 400m, what a sight that must have been and he was a good high jumper while at Kansas.

Went to yard sales this morning, had to be back by 1 for the track so stayed in town.
I pulled up in at this one and there sits an old lady, had to be her three grandsons and a fat girl looking like her daughter, yep....straight off the truck from Arkansas. All had that dumb hick look.
But....books, they had a ton of books.
I get out and here comes this pit from around the corner of the shack, they were all freaking out so this was serious. I knew better than to panic so I just yelled....WHOA...the dog slowed and just stood there, I started backing back to my truck door, one of the hillbillie boys took it back to where it had came.

South African Paul Nash a white dude ran a 9.2, as did a short balding white cat from right around here from Reedley, he also ran a 9.2 and is the only white sprinter to ever beat Bob Hayes, he beat him in an indoor 60....who?
Trinidad had a great sprinter back in the day, a white Trini......who? And he ran at the same college with short and balding. Just before.
In 1952 Jamaica crushed the 4x4 world record at those Olympics, on that team were the worlds top three 400m cats and a 100/200m sprinter who also went to the same school as white Trini and short balding, go ahead find that Googling.

This cat was out of that Atlanta school of them blues, he first recorded in 1926 making him one of the first male*** blues cats to record. He is a must listen if ya dig them primitive sounding country blues.
Yep, he lost a leg.
*** the lades dominated early on but more jazzy than back in the alley blues.
