    Uncool, Zachery.

i know it's not cool man.

    but i got reasons.

she thinks I lust after every hottie that SHE notices.

then she looks at my eyes to see if I notice.

that's bull . either she trusts me or she doesn't...

let any man that has NEVER noticed a pretty girl or read a maxim cast the 1st stone...

the other day he said I could not ask anyone anything without going through him first...now, I thought we lived in a free society where we woman can speak our mind...
Another example of a non-Christian, wrong act.

But Sac will spin it. Watch.

We do and you have the freedom to kick his ass from here to heaven.

I know it's easier said than done, though.

I think Zak missed the part of Christianity where they address pride. Well, Zak, you're lucky she's still with you. If I were in her shoes, I would have taken steps out the door without so much as a second look. You need her a lot more than you realize or are currently willing to admit.

And I find the fact that you think you know more than a member of the clergy about their religion to be the most obvious sign of your pride. It is honestly quite sad watching you turn into so much of an asshole. I like you a lot, but I don't like the person you are trying to turn yourself into one bit.

Yes...PRIDE is his down fall...plus his selfishness...he does things for others but when it comes to me...I'm always last...does not discuss his actions with me until after the fact...sometimes I feel like I'm a slave because I feel so tied down

Well Zak, I'm sure the longer you continue being an asshole to her the easier it is going to be for her to get over her insecurities regarding other women but I don't think it is going to be in the way you envison.

    Sac, WTF!

I said I like the new Sac much more than the old Zak, but what I'm hearing from wifey, I don't like at all.

you just have to show looter who the boss is. get a spray water bottle and when he is bad spray him. will 'get his attention' and after a while he 'should' be cured of it.

    just remember.

You mean she'll become so tired of men and their bull she'll pull a "Panther cheerleader" to that I say

In all seriousness Zack if you keep being a you are in trouble. You say you can go without sex, but how long do you think you can go without the companionship of a good woman (she sounds good cause if she was anyone I know she would have dumped your ass) So be careful of losing what you are willing to give up.

How would we spray him? The time that he's "bad" is when we aren't here. That's when he cries at the window the whole time we are gone. That's when he steals LJ's belongings. He's very lonely. He was rescued from N.O. and I think just needs to realize we aren't going to abandon him.

Zac- you should listen to Koiri & l.j, S y and Manny cause they are all giving you good advice.

But much more important, you should listen to your wife. She is such a good woman to stand by you and you don't seem to consider her feelings at all.
God blessed you. Don't ruin it.

well if he is being bad when you are gone then i dont know what to say.

and you would spray him with a simple water bottle with those spray mists...kinda like the windex bottles, but obviously with water and not windex.

I knew what you meant by spraying. When I said "How would we spray him?" I meant because we weren't here.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I think he just needs more time and maybe a companion.

If you guys are home the majority of the day, and he only acts up while you're gone, another dog is probably not the answer. All a second canine is going to be is an accomplice. I don't remember who said to crate him, but that's as good of an idea as any if you can't just leave him in the backyard (is he a digger or an escape artist?) while you're gone.

Zak - you don't know a fraction of what you think you do, and unfortunately it's going to take a huge fall before you realize that.

Shame that you're taking the lady with you.

Serioulsy, try putting him in his kennel. Blondie would do stuff like that AND go to the bathroom in the house when we left. We always put her in it when we left and it broke the habit.

Or Blondie could be his girlfriend...

Why wouldn't another dog help? They could hang out and play while we are gone and hopefully ease his loneliness. I don't really care about him stealing LJ's belongings he does that because he's lonely. I want him to be stop panicking and crying. I'm not sure if you guys realize how bad it is .. he stands in the window completely freaked out and crying the whole time. It's not like a regular dog just complaining, he's actually having some sort of anxiety attack. If I put him in the backyard, he'd just do the same thing. Crating might help, but it might make him panic even more.

I don't think crating will because of the den instinct.

    Have you asked your vet?

My dog had the same problem. I don't recommend this but I used one of those "shock" collars (I did it on myself to make sure it wasn't too harsh ). I recorded the first day I used it. He cried/howled once, got shocked and then waited a few minutes. Tested it by growling/howling louder, louder, louder until he set it off again. He yelped and never cried/howled again when I would leave!

What I would recommend is the Dog Whisperers technique. I don't remember exactly what it is though. I'm sure you can find it on the net. It worked for Oprah's pooch. Much more humane!

Kori, don't know if you saw this but the dog whisperer has an effective behavior modification for seperation anxiety. I'll see if I can find it on the net. I know he teaches it during his $75 seminar!
