Wow, piss poor clearing and defense from the US today. That is not going to get it done. There were so many mistakes on that last goal and then the Czechs come up with a huge goal.

Lewis and DMB have both been a step slow, actually you could say that about the whole team. They aren't going to earn anybody's respect playing like this.
Yeah, I'm kinda annoyed Johnson didn't start. I thought a big part of the US having shots would be having him in with Donovan back at midfield. If you want to get Donovan more touches at this point - and you do - you should move him back because they aren't getting him the ball up front worth a damn.

Also, because the Czechs scored that first goal so quickly, they were able to just start packing it in. That hurt as well but at some point you have to adjust for it.
We need McBride in there. I'm mixed on Eddie Johnson, he's fast enough to get past the Czech defenders but he hasn't shown he can finish with any consistency lately.
Such a dissapointing first half. I could deal with 1-0, but 2-0 is not what I was expecting out of this team. This blows.

This first half is reinforces what everyone in the world already knows, Czech Republic is a top notch team and while the US is good, they still have a lot to go. Still, 45 minutes left and Koller is out. This might just be the break the US has been needing.
