This series is hard.

Its all about not being able to contain Terry and Harris. We have to figure that out in the second. They are driving to the basket time and time again at their will. We just seem to be playing soft and backing off. Look at Finley, he was doing the soft thing over and over. Afraid of fouling? , send them to the free throw line and make them go for it. Better than giving them the momentum they get by driving straight to the basket.

Whatever happens, this is not SA Spurs. What kind of defense is that? It is all Pop's fault. Why? Because these are not Spurs and those definitely are Mavs, like we were watching them last season(s). In other words, we, defending champs / a team with 63 wins in regular season, have thrown away everything that cons utes us. We should have continued to play OUR game and let teams like Mavs, our regular customers, worry about us. Instead Pop has chosen the path of playing small lineup which is obviously the main reason why our defense is worthless. Yes, the word is very correct - worthless, useless, nonexistent. If Pop is not able to better answer to opponents' moves...

It makes me sick that Pop is letting AJ dictate the tempo and the Spurs game planning (or lack of). When in the past 10 years have we ever been without two 7 footers clogging the lane? Our defense has always been dependent on those two guys in the lane shutting it down, be it Duncan and Robinson, or Duncan and Rasho/Nazr. Nothing else seems to be working right now, so why not ing try it at least? Go with what got us here...
