Hectic. Very, very hectic. Once you get the gist of how it works, it becomes ever more challenging just to keep up with the shear amount of plants, animals, bugs, food chain, etc available to you.
I think VP would have been better suited to a PC...the control scheme sucks for controllers when I think about what it could have been with mouse and keyboard.
You know, the more I think about it, the more I am inclined to state that half the "hectic nature" of VP is attributed to its control scheme. You always feel like youre fighting an uphill battle to propogate a garden.
With all that said, its highly addiciting is you have patience. For todays twitch oriented gameplayers, VP is not up to snuff. But if you enjoy slower paced RPGs, or methodical type games like SimCity and Total War, the pacing is comparable.
Its when you get comfortable with the enviroment that your expectations rise and therefore its gets harder and harder to achieve those expectations. A very intriguing dynamic in that way.
