Yes, I CAN blame the refs...they called a charge on SA that should've been a block by LeBron...and then LeBron plowed head first right into Oberto and they called a block on Oberto...that's two 4-point shifts...the Spurs would've won this game by 4-6 points if not for those two BULL calls.
That said, the Spurs need to shoot better, so the refs cannot be a factor.

just like vultures going after a rotting carcass.
mavfan can't count.
They are the "San Antonio" Spurs. There salaries are paid for by this city, and they make a huge effort to make the fans involved in everything they do. They ARE this city.
What's up with your 'your not part of the Spurs' rampage?
Nope. Twice he grabbed O boards over smaller players (Brent/Ime, I think), just by reaching over them.
I wish we got our hands on Bob...
Ok, the difference was Manu actually went THROUGH Lebron (iffy call, either way). On the Lebron no-call, Lebron pulled up and Oberto did a pretty poor job of selling the call. There wasn't that much contact really, and he flopped pretty poorly (stutter step stutter step then fell). If you want that call, go straight to the deck.
Bottom line - Tony Parker missed two foul shots and Manu missed a wide open jumper from 8 feet. You can't blame the refs (especially after they gave that continuation to TP when he was fouled then took two steps and put it in).
We can't say TP lost the game because of the FTs - any player can have that bad luck, or whatever it was.
They could have called a time out in the last call. The game was lost because they played like garbage for 2 quarters. They are getting used to play like and then try to come back at the 4th
The refs I think overall gave more calls to the cavs - pretty difficult to stop a player like Lebron when the refs don't call anythign against him, ever.
The spurs in the paint were hacked several times and no calls were made and those hacks are there in the videos. I don't think TD should get pissed because he isnt getting any calls cause he tends to play worse when he does that.
Overall it's sad cause I think the spurs were playing like garbage but they werent mailing it. The bench is playing like garbage lately and only have surges from time to time, the rest of the game is pathetic.
Anyway, bad game, ugly loss, probably the worst of the season for how it was played and how bad they wanted to win it and couldn't.
When else would I come here? It's most fun when the ultra-defensive Spurs contingent is present.
Don't try to justify that last non call.
I know, I saw them too, but no point blaming the refs when you leave Boobie open for 3 at the end, can't make your own open 3s, miss 2 FTs and a game tier.
That's what scares me. We are way way way too reliant on the 3 ball.
I understand open shots, but Bonner has completely disappeared, Finley shoots more than TD sometimes, and I'm actually grateful when Bowen passes on shooting a 3 these days.
The fourth quarter had a good effort, ty reffing, but the chemistry still seems off. I don't know if it has to do with so many inconsistent lineups and tinkering, but the one thing that keeps me sane through all of this is that dallas and phoenix aren't running away with the conference despite our woes.
What's up with your "The Spurs are part of this city" rampage?![]()
Tell your boy to stop playing ring-counting SpursTalk gatekeeper and I wouldn't have to remind him that he personally has jack , just like the rest of you.
Mavs fans are not allowed to mock a championship team like the San Antonio Spurs onlychampionship teams fans such as the Detroit fans, LA Lakers fans and Houston Rockets fans

True. The Mavs are worse than irrelevant. Let's talk about the game instead.
The Cavs, those awful, stinking, junior-varsity scrubs, just beat the champs on their home floor. It's not exactly unprecedented -- the Spurs have lost to worse teams at home during some of their other championship seasons. And they're not exactly playing their best ball of the season right now.
So, this loss sucks. But let's keep it in perspective. The Silver & Black will be ready come May.
I still believe that the Spurs can make it out of the first round.
Yeah but too bad you don't show up to take yours when the mavs choke in the playoffs.
But either way I'm glad Mav fans come in here, because it reminds me no mater how badly the Spurs play. It won't compare to the 2 collapses the past 2 years for the Mavs.
Lol @ your version of 'size doesnt matter'.
Better call the judge and get an injunction quick, then, because we're gonna do it anyway.
So this loss really doesn't mean that much then.
I already did.
Don't try to justify a loss by saying the refs blew the game. There was poor calls on both sides, and when it came down to it the Cavs hit the wide open shot and the Spurs didn't. Refs are not perfect, nor will they ever be. It's a lot easier for me to sit at home on my couch and watch something in slow motion and yell at the screen than it is for an official to make a call in real speed.
Have you actually been watching TP's free throw shooting this season? Especially the last month and a half. He's lucky if he hits over 50% of this free throws. Parker was shooting very well from the line last season, this season he's really, really bad. He's taken two steps back. I would rather Oberto shoot free throws than TP in the clutch.
It's a long way to go.
It's just an ugly loss.

What in the are you talking about? I'm having difficulty decoding this nonsense.
It was inevitible, the Spurs are always destined to lose an embarrassing game on national TV while playing on their home court.
Always having to rally back to come up short. Go figure.
QUIT SHOOTING THE 3-POINTER WHEN IT'S NOT NEEDED.
They never learn.
