That's actually true. More knowledgable basketball fans might credit the development of Scola and Landry and the maturation of Skip2, but these are writers we're talking about, so TMac will get all the credit.
okay, after seeing this game, I've decided I'm going to take my Spurs tattoo off.

Besides this horrible game, i blame Pop for one thing: He don't know what to do with his team...i'm tired to see a TIRED Manu coming on/off/on/off/on/off/on the bench, i'm tired to see Robert/Michael/Ime/Damon/Fabricio missing shoots and i'm TIRED to see a different starting lineup almost every night!!!
On this way, they don't know who they are![]()
TP was terrible on D tonight. It got so bad that Pop had to move Bowen over to CP3 late in the game. Worst of all, outside of Timmy, there was no intensity out there.
Well, we're virtually 5th in the West right now (Same losses as NO, once they play their remaining game, they own the tiebreaker), and if we don't pick it up we're going to have no homecourt advantage at all in the playoffs.
Hey, maybe THIS is the game that will FINALLY wake them up!!!!

This is their 4th loss in 15 games. Let's all calm down. Hope that makes you feel better.
We'll see. If Pop fails to call out the players, then welcome to 2006.
But who's going to be lashing out at Pop???
Weren't three of those losses in the last four games?![]()
That is not everyone. I have S. Just because you started cheering for your team THIS year and took a break since 2002 or 2004 when the pistons beat you.
If you want him fired, say so. As long as he's there, his job is to get the team ready to play.
Yup, totally agree. Settle on a rotation and live with it.
That's why it was a good thing to win 11 in a row. Come on look at the positive. If any of us had real sense about this team, or what Pop should do or intensity we wouldn't be online but on a NBA coaching staff. All we can do is cheer.....and complain.![]()
I'm not saying to fire him. Like there's even a remote chance of Holt doing that. He's as much, if not more, to blame as every single player on that team. His job is to get them ready to play? So far he's ing that job up.
+1
The Spurs offense sucks, the defense has been terrible of late. Part of that, I think, is because they still don't know exactly what their role is because they don't know what Pop will do at any given moment.
The way the bench has been sucking lately, I say make Manu come off the bench and stick with it. If the Spurs can't step up to the challenge, then they don't deserve the O'Brien this year.
Take it easy. I bet he does get them ready but can he control them on the court? Is he playing out there? When your math teacher said if you study these problems you will pass the test...did you blame the teacher when you didn't study?![]()
Right, so he needs to call them out for lack of effort or he needs to get canned. There's not any excuse for a team not to show up this many games in a row. Obviously they aren't tired or he would be limiting their minutes or lengthening the rotation.
LOL, I am probably one of the few people here not wanting to throw their tv's around. I've come to terms with their losing and winning. All the screaming I've done in the past never helped one single bit. As far as controlling them on the court.....that...is...his....job.
HAHAHA, you got owned by the Hornets again lol
i still can;t get over by the fact that TP was the only one hitting a freaking 3
Bottom line is: Spurs team knows how to win when it counts - trust me they will be a different team coming the playoffs. No need to freak out...
If you don't like the game, don't watch it... just wait till playoffs.
Exactly. It's time for Pop to make the choice and move on.![]()
Or until they turn it around and start playing like the team that started 17-3. Could be any time.
Bowen kicks Paul while Paul is on his back trying to get up.
Stay classy San Antonio!![]()
Yeah, he'll draw a one game suspension for sure once the league office sees that.
