Instead of physical attributes his maturity on the court and basketball IQ is the one i think should grow.
waiting on ST doubters to comment on Wemby's giving up an H and an O to this kid. Also, based on the size of the gated fence, Wemby looks to be about ten feet tall.
Great story for that young kid, but did they really need to have a news report on it?
Do you really think this is not news worthy?
This is almost as good as the guy who posted here some story about seeing kawhi at heb and some other stuff about spilling some crap in the heb aisle or something similar…
Wemby would be unanimously the face of league once he win a ring
Wasn't Kawhi visiting China when we first started getting Uncle Dennis'd?
Yes, that was when Uncle Dennis realized that Kawhi was actually a superstar and China fans were treating him as a superstar. However, Pop and the organisation never gave Kawhi any superstar treatment and Uncle Dennis started his whole fiasco.
Danny Green did mentioned this in his recent podcast with Captain Jack. He mentioned that Pop and the organisation had never gave any superstar treatment to anyone including D-Rob, Timmy, Manu or TP, and these guys never care about being treated like a superstar. Hence, of course Nephew would not receive any superstar treatment as well. This kind of humble at ude by Timmy and gang allowed Pop to "coach" them and the 15th guy on the bench would fall in line as well.
Uncle Dennis wanted the superstar treatment and started the fall out.
They need to change this “no superstar” treatment, because wemby is a superstar so they need to treat him like that.
I think one of the all-star games also did it. Other all-stars had limos and the Spurs made Kawhi get his own transport to the game.

That’s not how it happened. Spurs had provided a limo, and told them to leave three hours before game time. Uncle Dennis thought that was ridiculous, and they left one hour before, and traffic was gridlocked. Because of Uncle Dennis’s decision, Kawhi had to get out and walk to the arena to make it on time.
What I said it what I read/heard somewhere, so that story was wrong then. I didn't know the full story. Thanks for correcting me.
Guys
I just realized ......Kareem was a martial artist right?
If Wemby is intent on mental discipline, that's great
But among the skills he needs to develop to prolong his career is the development of a hook shot .....
Looks like Victor is drinking the Shaolin Kool aid. Shaved his head and supposedly is staying at a temple for 10 days
If he wants to develop his mental for ude he is on the right track....
Sometimes I imagine him as a hybrid or cross between Durant and Kareem.....
I love that Wemby played chess in a NYC park, brings books to the locker room, and shaved his head while staying at a temple in China. If the people who obsess about the "next face of the league" question were themselves more interesting and had more diversified interests, the answer would obviously be Victor.
It’s good to see Wemby embracing Spurs history and following in the footsteps of Bruce Bowen, the first great Spurs prac ioner of kung fu.
Imagine from how far away Wemby could kick Wally Szerbiak in the face?
