College Gameday coming to Austin next week.
Good leader, tough as and not pro caliber.
Basically agree. An essential college QB, especially for our team.
We got to do better on 50/50 balls against LSU if he Ehlinger I gonna leave it in the air.
Need to see more plays where we fool the defense ala Eagles. The more plays we get guys wide open, the better I feel about the play calling.
Ossai is a beast. He attacks/defeats/slips blocks without losing site of the target.
I have no confidence in Boyce.
I would appreciate an update on Whittington. If anybody has anything it would be nice. i was in a loud room that stopped watching, was expecting more plays for him. On one run he looked like our best RB. Also if anyone has a replay I would appreciate it.

Our secondary, especially green, was not all that special last night. Thankfully, LT is just an avg program. They drove on us easily, but couldn't finish until garbage time. Against LSU talent, we will get shredded if we don't cover better.
Offense played well, I was impressed with Ehlingers ability to spread the ball. Eagles looked great and Duverney in the slot is scary to opposing teams. Ingram averaged 7.1 yards per carry. However I'm pretty sure he will never be a guy that carries the ball more than 12 times a game.
Jury is still out on the offensive line. Most of the pressure we saw came from blitz packages where they brought everyone. The surprising thing there was a couple times where Sam had happy feet in the pocket. Not sure why, but he didn't seem to feel comfortable out there.
I think we can put to rest the idea that Parker Braun was going to red shirt.
It sure felt good seeing the second team close out the game. That was some important experience they got. I'm hoping we get a few more games like that this year.
There isn't too much I can remember about the 1997 Texas Longhorns except they were just terrible. One thing that stuck out in my mind was we had a freshmen DT named Casey Hampton who looked pretty good. I thought he might only be a freshmen but I think he is going to be a player. Watching him develop into the player he eventually became was a joy. I think we have the same thing with T'Vondre Sweat. That dude is a serious talent. I'm looking forward to the next 3 or 4 years of watching him develop.
Biggest concern is we are having trouble creating a pass rush from the outside with just our dline. We really need guys like Alfred Collins and Van Fillinger to create that end rush that forces DCs to have to plan to double team them.
Best defensive player not in the secondary was a tie between the Shark and Ossai. This bodes well moving forward. I think Texas can play both those guys and feel confident they can get the job done.
Our corners are exactly what I expected, great cover guys but they are going to have to take their lumps before they become the players they reach their peak.
I love that so many freshmen played yesterday.
Roshon looked really good at RB, I'm not going to say this should be a permanent switch, but he did well. There is a possibility he could make it a permanent switch, but it is too early to tell right now. Right now the biggest weakness is we don't have a RB that can carry the ball 20 times a game and punish people. We are missing a guy like Malcolm Brown. And I hate to say it but unless Hulliby is that guy, we won't have one in the coming class.
I still get the feeling this is an incomplete team, hopefully by the end of the year we will be a team that wins the conference.

I have a feeling next saturday is going to have a huge impact on recruiting, one way or the other.
Kobe Boyce is gonna get eaten up by LSU
When you think you've seen everything...
