Houston Cy Falls defensive tackle
Du'Vonta Lampkin has been committed to Texas since late-July but the 6-foot-3, 291-pound defender has hinted at possibly taking other official visits.
Lampkin did indeed visit another college town this weekend as he headed up to College Station on Saturday, home of Texas A&M. The Aggies were having their biggest official visit weekend of the year.
However, the No. 331 overall prospect in the country was not on an official visit to A&M himself. Instead, he drove to College Station to hang out with the Aggie commits and targets that were in town.
One of the players Lampkin spent time with was five-star defensive tackle
Daylon Mack, a one-time A&M commit whose Crystal Ball is still in favor of the Aggies.
As of now, Lampkin has yet to be offered by A&M but he is still being watched closely by the defensive staff as signing day approaches. He was named the District 17-6A Defensive MVP as a senior.
