The Pac-12 for Texas State? Another thing I never thought I might see in my lifetime. College sports are just becoming so ridiculous right now.

Yeah that's pretty amazing even given the dilution of the PAC brand. Gonna be a nice weeknight league though I would personally welcome the Bobcats into the AAC.

The musical chairs leaving Memphis out of a P4 is a little baffling at this point. They're good at the sports that count.

There appear to be no further ambitions within the rest of the AAC teams right now including UTSA, which is fine. UTSA needs to break ground on a 7-10k arena before thinking about anything else.

I think the Bobcats would have been better off if they could have waited for the AAC but that's not a bad place to be for them

I mean, is Memphis a TV market? Maybe, but pretty much the reason why the ACC grabbed SMU, the Bigwhatever grabbed Rutgers, etc.

I was thinking more Big12, but point taken.

ACC didn't really grab SMU more than it grabbed the money SMU gave up to join.
