    - meh was disappointed in the extended ending.
From the point in time where their hooking up turned into a rape.

Then at the very absolute end, are we to take that as she was going back to him? She gives a little coy smile as she's dropping the knife.

FFS i know that kind of toxicity and co dependence really does happen in the real world but phuuuuck that was sick.

I loved her the 1st 2/3rds and thought he was 100 blowing it with such a righteous chick.

The set up was awesome lesson on what one can do but should not do when their insecurities get the best of themselves.
Agreed the ending kinda left you wondering if she really let him go, went back with him? or what? But I can see this entire movie happening in real life with a couple working at the same company and a promotion is given to one and the other believes they did the nasty to get to the top. Insecure for sure. But!! She did kinda put off the vibes like she did the nasty to piss him off.

Please. Much to my chagrin when I wasn't spamming anybody no one has ever talked film with me, on any platform. It's like I was saying on another thread just today: people find out what you want and then they'll deny you that satisfaction. It doesn't make a lick a sense, bene, but I've found it to be distressingly true.
I take offense, Cubby. I’m always happy to talk Heat with you.

I had my radar on to see if she would vibe him to feel superior / make him feel inferior and i got zero.
From what i saw she was a 100 cool chick. As she stated, she even gave him a congratulatory F when it appeared thru rumor that HE was going to get promotion.
I saw it as him being a total insecure mega and was baffled when she went back to him after all that. I mean even before the final bathroom blowup scene.

Only watched it once. Perhaps i missed her going into a bit of an uppity mode.
    I'll give it a 2nd.

We both agree the set up, the first oh lets say 2/3rds of the movie was great.

Perhaps the finest noir upon the North American Continent.

    Monroe at zenith.
As you can readily imagine he is not her "uncle."

Incessantly pounding on that door? The police.
Within minutes she tells & he takes the easy way out...
    "Emmerich!"

A flawless motion picture event of film.
    American film.

The Sly do entary was great. I never realized how obsessively committed Stallone was. Yeah, he mailed it in a few times(I still like Cobra... the critics) but he built three different characters and made those characters into franchises. Unreal.

kind of crazy this franchise is still as good as it is. Usually these type of movies wear out their welcome by movie 2.

"The Kill Team" on Netflix. True story war movie. Shows the difference between casualties of war and actual murder during a war.

Watched "whiplash" for the first time in a few years.

I've got no words for it, grabs you and doesn't let you go from start to finish.

10/10, easily one of my top ten favorite movies ever

He's never cheated us, nor withheld what we desired. Ever. It's his religion. Perhaps, yes, what we want/ed is a mirror image of his want, but he's never called us on it. "You want it? No problem. I'm gonna give it to with a quality that'll last forever. You'll see."

"Jergens" in -Rocky- standing there with 3 scorecards...in the aftermath..."Ladies and gentlemen, we have a split decision."

SS, preserving what he'd made in the charter issue brings it to a full summit in IV...by presenting Creed's wife/original actor, untouched! At zenith, time had, God bless it, been mercifully kind to her, and us, so that when she is risen, tears have welled, but not fallen it's not just something, but it-is-everything. For Creed, as he leans back into the turnbuckle awaiting his final round after warning Rocky not to stop it, "no matter what."...Creed shows us who it's been the entire time, not the manager/pseudo father. No! And not Rocky. No!. SS forgets NOTHING! Husband & wife find one another for the final time, the nod is given and we move forward leaving in our wake so much.

It's all SS. He's a genuine American hero, who is selfless and loves the people who love him.

Just watched "The Killer" recently added on Netflix starring Michael Fassbender. Outstanding hitman movie. I was glued to my seat the entire 2hrs. Highly recommended, and I mean highly.

    9.75/10

This was 100% my type of flick. Action, suspense, drama......the whole nine yards.
