Nice 1st half, but not great. Nice job taking care of the ball, but not nice work closing the quarters. Pop has to figure something out with that 2nd unit... Mason at the point just isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. I wish Hill would get a little burn to at least litmus test him to see how he handles it.

Noah got screwed earlier in the game too. He had a perfect, textbook block on Big Baby and they called a foul. All ball. And even if he'd hit Baby's hand, that's considered part of the ball so I don't know what the refs were seeing.
Need to keep up the intensity. Guys need to figure out that if the whistle isn't blowing, you need to raise the physicality on the other end. We need more and better picks for Tony. They have nothing to keep him in check, and if he didn't miss like 5 layups this would not be as close.

Timvp was right. Bonner will probably be pretty useless this series. By the 3rd or 4th game we will likely be down to the 3 big rotation of Duncan, Gooden and Thomas with Bonner only playing spot minutes.

This is a must win for the Spurs, we are at home and we need the confidence that we can go and win game 2,3 and 4.
