3 pointers are still low percentage shots. Depending on them is akin to playing Harlem Globetrotters basketball.
The Lakers will win this series because they play basketball. Orlando will lose because at times they resemble a circus act.
I was thinking there is so much complainging about the refs...then i realized its by the same 3 people over and over through out the thread. lol

Laughing at the absurdity of posters like CRC21209, Spurscenter, Sammy, and Ballhog who show their complete basketball ignorance by blaming the refs. The Magic were simply outplayed and not used to having thier 3's contested. Points in the paint by the Lakers has to be above 50.
Oh by the way.... the home cooking on the Lakers floor resulted in orlando getting called for 21 fouls to the Lakers 23 and Orlando getting 29 free throws to the Lakers 18. Damn homer refs!

I will go out on a limb here and venture to guess, .... they made one more basket or two more free throws than the lakers in the first quarter. It's not rocket science.

to be fair, most of teh SA guys wernt complaining about the refs..it was the same 4 guys in this thread...2 just happen to be from SA, one from the heat and a troll.
Officiating was WONDERFUL! Dwight maybe deserved a few more FT's but so DID KOBE. His first 20 FGA's went without a FREE THROW. The flow of the game was NICE and 25 point gaps are never decided by the refs. The only Finals series ever decided by the OFFICIALS is 2006.
Also the theory that Nelson getting inserted ruined Magic chemistry costing them the game is DUMB. The game blew wide open when KOBE came in and scored 30 points combined in the 2nd/3rd quarters. RAFER wasn't gonna do JACK about that.
The officiating in this game was consistent. I would have those guys ref every game if possible.
Thinking the same. Bad calls here and there but thyey were CONSISTENT as ever
