Suns showed heart and actually made the Lakers change how they play to a certain extent. Amare is a damn frustrating player on the defensive end though.

Not really. Kobe shot lights out in 2008 too. Had everyone on his nuts. Then Boston happened. Another 40% shooting Finals for Kobe. Choking huge leads on his home floor. 39 point blowout in deciding game, etc, etc.
But they have 7.16/5.66 back this season.

Payback is such a . Lakers were one rebound away from beating the Suns a couple of years ago and lost because of it.

Lakers get to redeem themselves and pay back the Suns for that rebound. How fitting. Had they gone into OT, anything could have happened.

Heh, Amare probably played better on defense than on offense today.

That was a great series to watch.

Hate both teams that are in the finals but i'm looking forward to it. The two best teams advanced.

    Go Celtics!

That was 2008, this is now. Obviously the Lakers have matured since then, picking up a le last year.

And the Celtics have shown more propensity to give up big leads than the Lakers this year.

It should be a tight, close series. And Kobe will impose his will, there's no question.

Are you just trying really hard for a jinx or something? Kobe actually had legs in 2008. He's a jump shooter now and his teammates are as soft as ever.

The Suns must be a cursed franchise. Yet again they fell short by a smidgeon... this time, probably a Jason Richardson blockout.

Gentry muffed the 4th tonight - WTF was Barbosa doing out there except jacking bad 3s? He really should have brought Nash back in after a few minutes' rest and gone Nash-Dragic until the end. If Nash was on the end of those passes, not Barbosa, he would've nailed those 3s.

The thing is, if Nash was there he'd also have the ball instead of Dragic.

Uh, no. Kobe's unstoppable against any D you put on him.

Especially in must-win games. He imposes his will better than any other player in the NBA today, and that's why the Lakers are going to repeat this year. He's on a mission.
So, for how long have you been following the NBA?

Had Lakers lost this game, Sasha would've been banned from LA. Lakers would have his picture posted at every airport with a sign saying: Do not sell tickets to this man.
