It was not a penalty
But it doesnt matter anyway

After a disastrous start, Arsenal at least tried. But they didn't know what to do with all their possession, as there was no one there to initiate the offensive game. Ramsey and Wilshere had a couple of decent passes, but they're not yet ready to control the attacking game the way Cesc and Nasri do. Apart from that, there is just too little movement without the ball these days, so they're just passing it around without gaining any ground, making it too easy for the opponent to defend.
That being said, Arsenal would have deserved a draw and they were really unlucky with the refereeing: a clear-cut penalty that was not given in the first half, a good van Persie opportunity that was waived off because of a phantom foul call, and finally a Chamakh goal that should have been given but wasn't.
Still, the third place is Man City's to take now, let's hope they drop points against Stoke.
ugh, didn't see the game. I'm almost glad
Did anyone see Ancelotti's comments after the game? Dude looked resigned to the fact he'd be gone.

United and Stoke need to lay the smackdown next week..
Full course of Wenger's implosion has been nicely depicted through the last 5 episodes of Special 1 tv ... :-)
Tevez goals for City today
Enjoy
Shake my ing head..Man City have reportedly offered £158 Million for Ronaldo. Football is in deep because of all this money.
Ferguson named manager of the year and Vidic named player of the season. Can't really argue with that.

City officials have now confirmed that Ronaldo is not a transfer target this summer, claiming the speculation is pure 'mischief-making'.
"Speculation linking the club with Ronaldo is ill-informed and unfounded and nothing other than mischief-making," senior officials told Sky Sports.
"Whilst there is no doubt that Ronaldo is one of the world's greatest players, he is not on the club's list of transfer targets."Mancini has ridiculed the rumours. Asked if he would be signing Ronaldo, Mancini replied: "Yes. We sign Cristiano Ronaldo for £200 million!"
The follow-up question suggested the Italian may be speaking sarcastically, to which he answered: "I think so. I don't know why this comes up. I know nothing about this. Cristiano Ronaldo is a fantastic player but I don't think he can leave Real Madrid.
"I could [sign him] after the FA Cup final," joked Mancini, referring to reports in the aftermath of the Wembley showpiece linking him to a plethora of top names. "Ronaldo, Messi, Fabregas and Iniesta if possible! I don't think it is possible!"
Anyway, WTF is the matter with Tevez, why can't he stop crying and stay....
I don't believe that for a second tbh, Man City probably would offer 200 million for Ronaldo.
And Tevez is just a got, he's such a great striker but he has a huge vagina.
They should sell that bag Balotelli, I can't stand him.

158M+ is nearly the same amount rmadrid spent last summer....
ronaldo going to mancity is a downgrade for him...
I believe it. Getting Ronaldo out of Madrid is pretty unrealistic, especially since he had a great period at United. Tevez was one of the few that have done it. 200 million for any 1 player would be stupid, especially with the way many soccer players switch teams constantly, after every 2 or so seasons. They'd be way better off buying multiple great players than 1 for that price.
Because he wants to be with his family, and his family doesn't want to live in England. For latin people is kind of depressing to live in England because of the short days, the weather and the cultural differences. That's why he wants to move to a Latin country like Italy or Spain.
what a ty excuse. He chose to take a job in england knowing he wouldn't be with his family.
Wanting to be with your family is a ty excuse? Have you never taken a decision that you regreted later or after some time? Maybe he was able to deal beign without his family for a couple of years but he can't stand it anymore, specially now that he has children.
Then pack your bags and go or bring them to England. If you miss someone so much you wouldn't give a about the weather or culture. Don't and whine while doing nothing about it.
He can't bring them 'cause they don't like living in England, I suposse Tevez prefers to suffer instead of making his children suffer. And he can't leave 'cause he has a contract and he needs to wait at least 'till the season ends to leave. He already said he's out in the offseason so I don't see what's the problem, the media is the one that's making the story of him saying he wants to stay, then leave, then stay and so on.

His family doesn't want to live as rich people in England? Hmm.
Oh OK, so the cultural differences were not an issue when he was at West Ham or across town at United, but they are now. I see. He's a professional footballer and it's short term, relatively. They all have the rest of their lives for other things, since living as a rich family in a terrible country like England is out of the question.
Until he said he wants to stay a day or two ago, but now not anymore, changing his stance daily like a 12 year old girl. LOL DAF it's very hard to take you seriously anymore, you act like issues like these negate the fact that Carlos Tevez is one of the best strikers in the world.
All reports say he wants to stay now. Wise move, guaranteed football in the Champions league + Premier league le contention on one of the biggest rising teams in the world.
At least the Arsenal ladies look like they're gonna win something.
