Come on, Pop. Whatever happened to playing Kobe for 45? Take Manu out of the game.

He is very excited to be there and wanted to play. Like there would be a difference in him playing 15 minutes compared to 20.
GOOD LORD ballhog bean nice TO.....
Thanks...
KMOL had some great vids and interviews tonight after the game. Don't know when/if they'll get posted to their website or not.

What's going on with the Duncan/Bieber situation? I must have missed something
Thanks, as usual. Really great interviews. Tim is hilarious and Manu is unpretentious and cool.
You didn't miss anything. Tim was just joking around about Bieber Fever..![]()

Ditto with the Pop interview. How 'bout that "transition d?"
All-Star Notebook: Popovich turns on compe ive juices...Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, coaching the victorious Western Conference team, began calling plays for his team down the stretch and used his knowledge of the conference’s teams to do it.
"He called a Hornets play for Chris Paul and a Lakers play for Kobe,” Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said. “He got into the compe iveness of things when it got close, and he was telling us to get back on (defense) and stop giving up so many easy baskets.”

Draven? Seriously? Gee, he wasn't lying when he said The Crow was his favourite movie, huh?
MySA: Ginobili relishes second shot at being All-Star
...
It’s Ginobili’s devotion to team goals that endears him to coaches, teammates and Spurs fans. Popovich understands he likely cost Ginobili his best opportunity for return trips to the All-Star Game by making him a reserve.
“He’s done his duty long enough and done what I’ve asked him to do because I thought it was best for the team,” Popovich said. “Maybe I was right, maybe I was wrong. It doesn’t matter. But at this point in his career, I thought he deserved to be a starter for no other reason than to be a starter.
“He’s a great player, one of the best in the world, and that’s why I did it. Just to show him respect.”
What a stupid, awkward interview. Sager with his ridiculous outfit would've been better than sending out someone who obviously knows little about the game. "Are you excited to see any of the celebrities?" Are you kidding me? At least Sager would've provided some comic relief. Glad to see Tim and Manu keeping it real.![]()
The whole three ring circus thing has left the building -Thank God - love to see a throwback ASG with no pseudo-jumping over cars, celebs who could not spell NBA if you spotted them NB_, and a winner take all pot. etc.
It's also the name of an author he likes.
