the only way either of those teams gets to the 2nd round is if they play Dallas in the first.
Oh, and DT, I didn't mean you were the worst poster with regards to dragging the site down. I meant that you and I literally never see the same thing and I think you get a ton of stuff wrong. But you seem like a good dude.
the only way either of those teams gets to the 2nd round is if they play Dallas in the first.
Denver look very good. If the Raptors beat OKC at home and the Nuggets are up by almost 40 on that same Raptors team who says that Denver has no chance against OKC or Dallas?
I'd say they have a chance, might not win, but they definitely have a decent chance with the way they are playing now.
oh oh....Pop calling out Bonner/Hill/Neal
After the game? Care to explain?
oh they definitely have a chance and they've played a lot better since the melo trade but i just dont see them beating OKC barring any sig injury.
i think their biggest weakness of not having a clear go to guy will be exposed in the playoffs especially when KD is getting whistle after whistle...
I think Denver has a much better chance of upsetting Dallas...same goes for the Blazers....
Hill definitely needs to be called out with his play the last month or so.
Neal was chucking too much for my liking out there, even for Gary Neal.
Calling out Bonner is pointless IMO. It's not like Pop can scare his arms to grow any longer or balls to get any bigger.
yeah, watching post game interviews and Pop said the bench needs to get their together. Said Manu/Tony shouldn't have played much today.

Manu, on Sean Elliott's 2-week prediction on Duncan injury: “If he’s that good as a doctor, I think he should change jobs.”
Any decent idea on Tim's injury? Did it just look like a normal grade 1/2 sprain, or is he really screwed?
People say Denver doesn't have a superstar. They've got a bunch of talented guys who are on the cusp, and could carry a deep team that's playing with enthusiasm.

By Paul J. Weber
Tim Duncan missed his first game last weekend because the San Antonio Spurs didn't want to risk him getting hurt.
Their worst fear happened two days later instead.
Duncan is out indefinitely after spraining his left ankle in a 111-96 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, dealing the NBA's winningest team its first significant injury all season and at nearly the worst possible time.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Duncan would be out "a while" but had no timetable. Spurs forward Antonio McDyess said he spoke with Duncan after the game and thinks the 34-year-old All-Star will miss at least a couple of weeks.
"I thought he had done real damage, like broken or fractured," McDyess said. "I was just happy to see it was just a severe sprain. I actually thought it was worse."
Manu Ginobili scored 28 points, and Tony Parker had 17 points and 15 assists. Parker was among the first to rush over to Duncan after he crashed to the court barely four minutes into the game. Parker then turned and winced toward Popovich, who stood with his hands in his pockets, watching his two-time MVP lay on his side and clutch his left foot with both hands.
"It's not flowers and lollipops," Popovich said about what he was thinking at the time.
Ekpe Udoh led Golden State with 15 points. It was Udoh's foot that Duncan appeared to be trying to avoid while landing awkwardly after hitting a short jumper in the first quarter.
X-rays on Duncan's foot were negative.
Troubled by aches and injuries the previous two seasons, Duncan's surprising durability until now has been a big reason why the Spurs (57-13) have led the NBA all season and are on pace to surpass their franchise record of 63 wins set in 2005-06.
The Spurs have a seven-game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers in the West with 12 games left. That breathing room afforded Popovich the luxury Saturday of giving Duncan his first game off all season, after Duncan had been the only Spurs player to start the first 68 games.
Duncan had played 32 minutes the night before in Dallas. Popovich said he didn't want to risk an injury.
He's got a big one now.
"I saw him in pain. He's not one of those guys that's going to pretend or do that if he is not hurting," Ginobili said. "It's bad, but hopefully it's just a couple of games and he'll be back soon."
Acie Law and Dorell Wright scored 14 apiece as the Warriors dropped their fifth straight. Golden State played a night after getting pummeled at Dallas by 28 points, and have one stop left in Houston on Wednesday before returning home Friday to host Toronto.
"You don't want to see a good guy like that getting hurt," Golden State coach Keith Smart said of Duncan.
Rookie Tiago Splitter, the 7-footer who got his first NBA start in place of Duncan on Saturday, filled in again for his idol and finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Steve Novak scored 13 points, and Jefferson had 12 for the Spurs.
The loss assured Golden State a 14th straight season without a win in San Antonio. Put another way, the Warriors have never won in San Antonio since Duncan was drafted in 1997.
But Golden State has given the Spurs two Duncan scares this season.
In January, Duncan fell to the floor and cringed for about a minute during a 113-102 win at Golden State. He was diagnosed with a hyperextended left knee and returned to the game.
That wasn't the case this time. He limped off the court with the help of trainers and did not return. McDyess said Duncan was icing the ankle at halftime and described the injury to him as painful.
Earlier this month, the Spurs announced that Parker would likely miss two to four weeks with a sprained calf muscle. He wound up missing just one game.
NOTES: Parker tied a season high in assists. ... Spurs F DeJuan Blair didn't play after spraining his left wrist in Saturday's win over the Bobcats. Blair is expected to return Wednesday.

San Antonio Spurs 111, Golden State Warriors 96: Spurs win, but it’s all “flowers and lollipops”
by Jesse Blanchard
48 Minutes of
AT&T CENTER–Tiago Splitter notched his first NBA double-double (10 points, 14 rebounds), Steve Novak provided another spark off the bench, and the defense held Monta Ellis to 10 points. Yet the San Antonio Spurs 111-96 victory was, as head coach Gregg Popovich put it, “not flowers and lollipops.”
That’s because Tim Duncan went down early against the Golden State Warriors, again, only unlike last time there would be no return for a triple-double. X-rays were negative, but as Sean Elliott reported, Duncan could be out a couple weeks.
“It’s bad timing. Hopefully it’s nothing really bad, but I saw him in pain and he’s not one of those guys that’s going to pretend or do that if he’s not hurting,” Manu Ginobili said. “It’s bad, but hopefully it’s just a couple games and he’ll be back soon.”
With Duncan limping to the locker room, Tiago Splitter stepped in and had a very productive first quarter with eight points and six rebounds. With big nights from Novak (13 points, 5-6 shooting), Tony Parker (17 points, a tied-for-career-high 15 assists), and Ginobili (28 points) it was enough to get past these Warriors without Tim Duncan. But not without some cause for concern.

Hopefully Pop can leave one of either Tiago/Dice out there with Bonner or Blair instead of playing those two together for extended minutes....
I never thought I would say that I'm ecstatic to have Steve ing Novak on our team but I am. He's very good Bonner-insurance, just in case Bonner has nights like tonight (where he went 1-7) to start the game....
I think tony knew he only need one more assist for his career high. It looked like he told pop "one more assist" and pop just answered with "good job". RJ probably told Tony something about missing a shot and not getting Tony his 16th assist, and Tony playfully got mad at him.
Novak is destined to be better because he's only going to be on the floor when he's hitting shots, unlike Bonner, who will get big minutes regardless of how much he stinks.
Novak's stroke is so solid right now. He's confident and he's drenching the net with his wetness. I bet he beat Bonner out of his rotation spot as the spread 4.
Wow, stat of the night: The Warriors have not won in San Antonio since Tim was drafted.

Since the game against Miami where Bonner shoot 6-7 from 3 points line, he is 6-27 from behind the arc.
Let's hope this slump will end soon.
Question is do you guys prefer a 3/4 or a 4/5 three point specialist?
Tony Parker:
:o :o :o
No wonder we won is that his career's best?
I like having four three point specialists on the team.
1. Ride the hot hand
2. Lather rinse repeat
