I know it's one game but how does a team like the Grizzlies come back from something like this in order to win the series? Their confidence has to be shattered right now.

TBH, i thought the same about Dallas after their meltdown against Portland, but they won it all last season. However the Mavs had Dirk and he was Jordanesque the last post season.

Yeah that's true. Is game two a must win for the Grizzlies? After seeing the result of game 1, I would say yes. If Memphis loses game 2, they will probably lose the series in 4. Some teams can't recover fast enough from choke jobs.

It should galvanize them tbh. They should understand now they have to finish teams off. The Clipps however get some swag and might actually compete the entire game next time.

I wonder if they were expecting the Clipps to just fold like a meaningless regular season game?

I doubt that their confidence is shattered. The Grizzlies aren't a mental weak team. Just a dumb one. I think the Grizzlies can bounce back from this.

I'm not willing to dismiss anything but even with Manu playing well later in the serie, they raped us and Memphis was not 100% healthy neither.

Manu wouldn't have changed the fact their front court killed ours.

oh and fwiw Tim health was in fact more damageable than manu's one. At the end of the day the better team won.

sons this Grizzlies team could become the Chicago Bulls of the 90's ... they have arguably the best coach in the NBA right now and some exciting young talent. if only they can keep everyone together I see multiple championships in their future ... starting with their first one this season.
