The Lakers need to diversify their offense. Having Bynum and Gasol together is fine, but not for this current team. They need to let Bynum have the paint offensively, trade Pau, get a PF who will defend, rebound and make open jumpers and find more perimeter players who can shoot to spread the floor for Bynum and Kobe. They're too congested with Bynum and Gasol because they don't have enough shooters.

They really need a SF who can shoot. Amnesty MWP, and make a strong push for Batum. His defense needs work, but he's 23, he can shoot and run the floor.

I agree about ASG, but come on Pau was good not great this year. top 10 players like Kobe, lose sometimes, especially to players ranked above him and to better teams. MJ, Lebron Ducan never lost to a better team? Your logic is almost as solid as Mugen's ...my have the mighty have fallen, simply because you (DPG) cant admit you were wrong ... tsk, tsk.
