anyways, i get the vibe most of you in this thread want to see zimmerman walk with no punishment whatsoever. very few of you think he is the true thug who stalked and murdered an unarmed teen, but most of you feel he should be free and able to go back to his daddy's couch. tray was a 17 year old kid who was approached by a stranger in the middle of the night, most kids in that situation will feel threatened and fight for their life.

as a black male it is very sad and concerning that white america's interest in this case is seeing a white-hispanic get off with killing a black male. its just like when blacks in the 90's celebrated when OJ was found not guilty for killing his ex wife. i guess this is white america's payback for the OJ trial mixed with their natural hate for minorities, sad.

for the record, not saying all whites in support of zimmerman are racist but its hard not to think that when they donated over 1million dollars to a child killer. i've never seen that type of support for a murder suspect. oh and the fact that the pro zimmerman team is having to grasp at straws like a 17 year old's marijuana use and fighting in school, really?!? that has no bearing on that night at all. he had no criminal history and smoked a little weed but they want to act like he was out here smoking meth, crack and shooting up heroin, give me a break.

i thinks its more concerning that a grown man has protective orders against him for domestic violence and fought a police officer than a 17 year old smoking a blunt of weed.

Tdawg...did OJ murder nicole simpson and her boyfriend? forget about the laws and what the states define it as. zimmerman will probably be let off with a slap on the wrist but at the end of the day, he profiled a teen, followed him, confronted him and killed him.

i disagree. i think she was solid. she was unshakable, you can tell the lawyer was getting frustrated with her.

She contradicted herself a hand full of times. Her opinion was almost entirely based on info that came from the news after the shooting. Nothing that she said about what she actually witnessed helped the case. The best and most effective part of her testimony was her 911 call.

Her recollection of Martin being on the ground face down and getting shot (in the back) pretty much confirms that what she saw is not what actually happened. Effective objections by the prosecution but if the jury takes what I took away from the questions and answers, her account does not add up.

Yeah but the lawyer drew the point that it was all assumption. Older men can have high pitch voices like Mike Tyson or younger men can have deep voices. The fact that she didn't actually see the two speak, she is not able to specifically pinpoint whose voice is who. She didn't even witness the changing of positions after the shots. She was just so vague.

Not appearing on TV and then saying that she did.

I used to teach school but I have not been a teacher for a few years so I can't definitively answer if 17 year old boys can have a deep voice.

There were others that I don't recall right now. She contradicted herself what seemed like 6-7 times.

She also refused to answer definitively obvious questions.

This attorney give a blow by blow description of just what a disaster yesterday was for the prosecution...I'm tellin you guys, I feel sorry for the DA...

Today can only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmerman’s praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a su ious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
