All I know is there better be some damn answers. If we get a repeat of the season one finale I'm done with this show, and ABC for that matter, for good.
3 more seasons to go.. don't expect all the anwers.. or answers that are 100% true..

I hope this with the Others is somewhat resolved, or at least better explained.
My theory about the others is there are multiple groups out there..
The island has natural healing and DHARMA is like half bull trying to abuse the island and claim "life extension"..
Yea we are doing experiments! (press button... over and over)
But the island brings flight 803 to help get rid of the abusers of the natural powers.

Cortez = Ponce Deleon = Fountain of youth = black Rock island ...<--- island they are on. (just my theory)

I think that's what Mr. Widmore was calling Desmond when they were in the car... I could be wrong...

Remember the shaman down under said Places have powers for people. If this island has the power to heal Lockes leg or Cancer... someone finds a way out and maybe draws a map.. like Locke.. "black rock island"..
Because the gallion was named "Black Rock"..

Juan Ponce de Leon was born in Tierra de Campos Palencia, Spain. As a boy he was hired to deliver messages in royal court. Later he served in many military campaigns against the Muslims until 1492 when they were driven out of Spain. After sailing with Christopher Columbus on his second voyage to the New World in 1493, Ponce de Leon remained in Santo Domingo, an island south of Florida.
In Search of the Fountain of Youth
As a reward for his service to Spain, Ponce de Leon was given the right to find Bimini, one of the islands in the Bahamas. The "Fountain of Youth" was supposed to be in Bimini. Legend has it that anyone who drank from the fountain would never grow old. Ponce de Leon organized an expedition to find the fountain in March of 1513. He landed near the site of what is now St. Augustine, Florida. He didn't realize he landed in North America. He thought he had landed on an island.Who was Hernando Cortez? Cortez was the Spanish conqueror of Mexico. He also wiped out the Aztec Empire.
Cortez was born in 1485 in Medellin, Extremadura. His parents were of small Spanish nobility. In 1499, when Cortez was 14 he attended the University of Salamanca, at this university he studied law. Two years later in 1501 he gave up on his education and started to drift around.
In 1504 he set sail for what is now the Dominican Republic to try his luck in the New World. In 1511, when he was 18, he joined an army under the command of Spanish soldier named Diego Velázquez and played a part the conquest of Cuba. Velázquez became the governor of Cuba, and Cortez was elected Mayor-Judge of Santiago.
If you look through all of those job profiles, each paragraph has 2 or 3 letters that are gray instead of black - I wonder if there's some sort of anagram in them.

Yea on one of the other sites you can find a letter in between sentences that say something like "help I am on an island blah blah".. it's hidden in the
airline website. (Oceanic something)
