Bernie has cut the lead to 2% in IL. His lead has shrunk to 0.9% in MO though.
A lot of the NE states are winner takes all which benefits Trump with 3 candidates running. Cruz has to win California to have any chance.

the GOP always has been
Damn, Hillary is all over Bernie in Missouri. Thought he would win that with some room, but nope.
Bernie got buried tonight.
I believe they're unbound, but can only pledge to a candidate at a brokered convention.
Hillary wipes the floor with Bernie tonight. Damn
4 out of 5.
I would Nicole Wallace's brains out.
Googled. Approved.
Thick for an over the hill lady.
FkLA Bernie won't win .
Hillary will sweep.![]()
IL and MO are essentially ties as far as delegates go. NC was better than expected.
Trying my best here to be positive.![]()

Why is she dominating the black vote? What is she really going to do differently than Obama and Obama has not done enough for the black community.
They like calling whites massa.
The majority of them are ing re s that's why. She takes huge contributions from private prisons, Bernie can't stand them and wants to eliminate incarceration over petty drug violations. She is backed by the major of Chicago who has done for minority schools there, Bernie can't stand the guy. She's been built by Wall Street, he's been built by the people. There is literally no reason why these morons should be supporting her. The only thing I can think of is the fact that she's been riding Obama hard and they love their black president.
Bernie just got crushed. Can't blame it all on the blacks.
I hope Bernie dems realize that while Donald Trump may be somewhat risky, he is our great hope for getting a POTUS who is not under the control of special interests.
True.
He actually didn't get as crushed in North Carolina as I thought he would be.
Blacks are starting to be for him so she's not entirely relying on them. She's got the hispanic, blacks and old white vote.
Is not like she's dependent on one demographic alone. She's popular among others as well.
Gotta give credit where its due.
written on march 3... it relies on daily kos so i'm taking it with a heaping bowl of salt
Clinton Will Build Her Biggest Lead on March 15. Sanders Will Erode It After That.
I would say there is a several reasons to why she is getting the black vote. I'm a Bernie supporter but I knew it would be an uphill battle.
1. The 90's was the only time in recent history where black income went up and black unemployment was at an all time low. That period of time is associated with Clinton so that resonates greatly within the black community.
2. She is tightly connected to Obama. The black community views a vote for Hillary as reaffirmation that Obama was a successful president.
3. Black people tend to be super religious and Bernie is not.
4. Hillary resonates with black woman deeply since a lot of them are hardcore feminists.
5. Black people have always been obsessed with Brands such as Jordans,Nikes, etc. The Clintons are a recognizable brand name in the black community while Bernie is not.
6. The Clintons are also heavily backed by the black establishment and Bernie is not.
7. I would say Bill more so than Hillary has a lifetime of social experiences with blacks that date all the way back to his childhood in Arkansas. Bill grew up as a white trash which caused him to have a lot of interactions with the black community. It's because of all these experiences Bill has had with that black community that allows him to come across as a natural communicator when addressing them. Hillary taps into this obviously for her advantage.
Sure, it's not just the blacks. The older generations are pretty uneducated about their respective track records as well.
Illinois and Missouri could've easily gone in favor of Bernie if the Chicago/St. Louis areas weren't so pro-Clinton though. Wouldn't have been much different as far as awarded delegates go but you wouldn't have been using the word crushed to describe tonight either.
I would say these two are far and away the biggest reasons. In other words nothing to do with actual politics.
Face it, Trump is the candidate. Even if there is a brokered convention all he has to do is offer Cruz a SCOTUS seat and it'll be a done deal.
Certainly not over for the Bern...
Don't think so. If Trump doesn't clinch the nomination on the first ballot when the delegates are bound to him, they'll abandon him in the second round. Kasich taking Ohio and staying in the race (diluting Trump's votes in more moderate states) will prevent him from reaching 1237.
