Where I disagree with Pop is he should've left Aldridge in at least. Both shouldn't have been on the bench at such a crucial point.
But if Kawhi closes that quarter, he likely is subbed in later in the 4th than he was. And Charlotte is a good team, so let's give them some credit. They were going to make a run regardless, so whether it comes in the end of the 3rd, or the beginning of the 4th doesn't matter much IMO.
The bench has to figure out a way to maintain leads, and it'll only happen if Pop plays them at those points. Like I said, I do wish he kept at least LMA out there

. Joking aside, I totally agree with your take. Part of me thinks it's why Pop goes to his mad scientist mode at the wrong time so this team continues to stay tested.
