Mills is really bad against the Warriors period. Can’t recall a good game from him against them. He got very good looks all game too.
He had a really good game that year GS was tanking to protect the draft pick that became Harrison Barnes. It was the last week of the season I think.

    So maybe, 6 years ago?

Pop with a nice subtle tank job...only way to explain that lineup to close the 4th quarter. I can't wait for those lottery balls...
Definitely seems like he wasn't trying to win the game in the final few minutes.

I have said for a long time he's a ty defender that the refs allow to get away with fouling. He was allowed to bear hug Lamarcus on every possession during the last 5 minutes of the game.
Well the second to last foul at the end of the game is something he does all of the time. It's a huge defensive advantage to let him get away with that and that is just a fraction of the they let him get away with. His defensive reputation and being undersized for his position is a deadly combo for the refs to let a player get away with murder.

It actually doesn't. We don't need to be in the playoffs with no hope of winning it all. Just suck it up and take the pick.

That said, this was an annoying loss and the guys being all smiley and immediately not caring at all that they just lost kinda pisses me off.
I would rather have just tanked the season from the jump than just barely miss the playoffs.

Hindsight is 20/20. Had patfo known kawhi would miss this much time they should have gone into tank mode from the jump.

Lamarcus as option 1 is fools good. He might get 22 and 10 but he is guaranteeing a first round exit at best.

Horrendous coaching(which has become the standard lately) and communication down the stretch..letting Durant beat you rather than anybody else, Kyle getting screened off every time without help or communication

Not making changes to the closing lineup despite this being the 3rd blown double-digit 4th quarter lead in the past 8 games..

What's the point of signing Rudy Gay if you aren't going to play him in these scenarios? It's been the only thing he's been good at throughout his career

Like I said his defensive game is reliant on the refs allowing him to get away with fouling. If he was on a regular team he would be fouling out of games. He gets away with fouling simply because he plays for the Warriors.

Honestly, didn't you guys see this one coming? This team has been awful closing games with LMA at the helm
I didn’t expect a win so I am just fine. If it’s a lost season have no problem with Pop developing youngsters. There’s no other way to simulate that kind of pressure on guys taking shots at the end etc.

Putting up 30/17/4 only to waste the last possession fading away from 15 feet out is the most LaMarcus Aldridge thing ever.

I really want this team to miss the playoffs, and hopefully luck out in the lottery.

mastertankjob. Warriors did not play well without Curry for most of the game. But its at least weird to lose a more than decent points advantage in the fourth quarter. ok that KD played very well but we could have taken this one home...however, if that's the plan, i'ok with that...develop the young guys and put the wrong people (veterans like Mills or young ones like Forbes instead of veterans Manu or Gay or young guys like Bertans) in crunch time for sinking our standings. Its a win win...in the sense that if the young guys give you the win (see Forbes last shot) its one more chance to find out something worth developing another year.

Forgot to factor that into the equation.

Defensive reputation+undersized for position+front running s of the league= The perfect storm

All four Spurs touching the ball and not one of them even thinking of shooting / driving to the hoop so that Princess could get his touch and shot in the post with under seven seconds on the clock and the double team coming was the most Aldridge's Spurs thing ever.

Bertans is an embarrassment unless he’s hitting 3s.

    Fouling three point shooters

Can’t grab lose balls because 9.5 fingers

    No situational awareness

Standing four feet out of bounds on inbounds play

He should be like a fifth option in the clutch in a championship caliber team which the Spurs obviously aren’t. But other than that, quarters 1-3 is where he shines.

I look forward to the day Draymond has to play on a bad team. That's when he will get exposed. Remember how terrible Dejuan Blair looked defensively when he would guard Bynum and Gasol. That's how Draymond would look every game if the refs didn't allow him to get away with fouling.

Both teams were trying to lose that game. Wow what a show.

Spurs want the highest possible pick while still making the playoffs. Looking to drop now. Aiming for 7-8. Noticed the spurs tossing that nola game last week on purpose too.

Warriors want a cakewalk round 1. Trying to gift wrap the spurs one tonight to keep them higher seeded than 7-8.

Not happy about currys ankle. Wish he was able to play. I hate injuries.

You called it. 34 points in the finale to extend the 50 games won streak ironically

I know some of you guys are joking with the tank, but in all seriousness I think they should have shut down Kawhi for the season since December and start the tanking process
